Obsessed with everything about vaping

hi, I'm Kara. I started Vaping 3 months ago. My starter kit was a Kangertech Subtank mini. Why? Because I knew nothing about Vaping other than the "Cloud" sucked me in. I now use it as a backup to my Kangertech SUBVOD. I don't know if I have good devices but they seem to serve purpose. I'm learning they may have been a little too much for a novice to start with, without total education on the different types of mods. After a little research, I may be dealing with a more dangerous toy than I need. I'm an idiot. I admit it. No shame. An airhead.. And I've already added some stuff to my juice and vaped it. My ends hasn't exploded yet, at worst, I burn coils a little quicker. But I'm also learning some of the Vape shops I've been too.... Have complete idiots working for them too. There's only one shop I've found locally who seems to be able to give informative advice on my preferences and what to/not to do's. Feel free to message me, whatever. I'll chat about anything. And if you're down for some off the wall Q's, lemme know. Living the American Dream in Coweta, Oklahoma!

The best thing you can buy yourself is a regulated mod. Because it has battery protection etc...Thats the best advice to give a new vaper. Mech mods are for those that know and have a ohms calculator or just plain smart. I love vaping and been vaping since 2009 It didnt work back then but I came back to vaping when It got to be a better alternative and the mods were a better bang for your buck. The Subtank Mini is the perfect tank for anyone period. I bought one when I started vaping again a year ago. And been free from tobacco for over a year now. ANd the subtank has been transformed into my new Bigger subtank. If you don't understand ohm's law and battery safety stick to using regulated devices like iSticks etc...

Hi Kara. Welcome to VU. if there is a device or tank your interested in, I suggest checking out Youtube and see if there is a review about that item. You can get an idea if it is a good product and also the ins and outs about how to use it. You will get a lot of info that way. Good luck, and vape safe.

Hello Kara and a warm welcome to VU .Idiot you are not. Very confusing when it comes to mods. I did a ton of research and still found gaps in my knowledge plus l had been vaping for years before that. You have good and popular gear. Watch youtube as suggested and ask questions here. Welcome aboard and l hope to see you around.

Welcome to the VU Kara! I wish I had done what you did when you joined the Vaping scene, instead I did what a lot of people did that are here. I went to the pen devices first and made my way to a mod after about 6 months. So I feel you just cut down the learning curve. Like Lucy said there's so much information that at times it may be very confusing. Just don't do anything like mess with the batteries or take the mid apart and you should be fine. Welcome to the VU, glad you found us!

Welcome to the VU. Sounds like your starting off right with the gear and learning that some vape shop employees are idiots is a good thing.

Hey, Kara. Welcome! To the forum and a whole new world! There really is a lot to learn, so just read, ask, google, ask some more, etc. I'd echo the first reply about a variable, regulated mod; it helps you figure out a lot faster HOW you most like vaping. Also, best places to buy batteries -- illumn.com and liionwholesale.com. Best prices I've seen, for QUALITY batteries, and the best way to vape safely is to use the best quality batteries you can possibly afford -- when you can also get 'em real cheap, well hell, that's a no-brainer. :D

Welcome!

welcome! on my way to OKC next month for my son's wedding. i grew up south of okc. ps,, your equipment is just fine for a newbie,, and you avoided getting equipment that could have been too weak for your needs like i did..........so you are $100 ahead of the game from where i started :)
