For some stupid reason I got it into my head that I wanted one of those vinyl skins to put on my Sigelei Spark 90w mod. It's black, like alllll black, and I thought it was boring. So I ordered one off Amazon. It came, I put it on, it fit great and felt nice. But it was a little girly for me, so now we're too far in the opposite direction.
Then I got my Kabuki clone from FT, and it's black. And of all the mods I tried it on, it vaped best on the Sig, and here I have put this godawful vinyl skin on it. So this morning I decided to remove the skin.
You guys can probably imagine what happened, but I was taken by surprise. The adhesive on that skin pulled the finish off my mod in about four or five places. It started off just being one place, and as the morning has progressed, at least three more places have shown up. They are small, but against that black finish, what looks like zinc or aluminum underneath just shines out like a spotlight.
Solution? Find a carbon-fiber, solid black vinyl skin, and cover the shit back up. Dammit.
