Hi, My wife and I just started vaping about a month ago. We got set up with cool fires with kanger tanks which my wife's took a dump after just 2 weeks. We went back to the place which sold it to us (which is over 100 miles from us, we camp near the place on the weekends during the summer ) and wanted to upgrade but the place talked my wife into a cheap k-box 40 watt (which it burns the juice with the kanger tank at 25 watts) which the k-box I seen as cheap as 17.99 online compare to the 65 we spent on the cool fire we didn't know at the time so we got ripped which I will mail the k-box back to them and tell them to jam it. But anyway I got her a Sieglei 75 watt single battery for 85. It blows thru the battery's like crazy and juice with a artic tank vaping at 64 watts. Now my cool fire is taking a dump lol go figure. with some looking online (not knowing what i'm doing) but a whole lot of reading I ordered a Sigelei 150 tc for me with a freemax sub ohm tank (and of course only see the good reviews until you order then I see the tank is not that good) But anyway my wife is already getting sick of the sigelei because it's really heavy and the fast drain on the battery's. Ok I think you see the picture, 47 million dollars later we are back at square one. Please help me. Some of the questions I have is for me first....... What will be the best battery's for the Sigelei 150 tc? I ordered the Samsung INR 18650 25R Battery - Flat Top. Then of course the Starre Sub Ohm Tank by FreeMax. Do you have better choices than what I ordered? On the tank I chose that one because of the flavor it says the tank gives and the wattage it can go to I guess. Now my wife...... I was thinking the sigelei 150 tc or the plain sigelei 150 watt. The tank? I have no clue because i'm so confused right now. She vapes at 64 watts now and has no interest in dripping or changing to the temp control where I am at a later date but wants a good tank that gives good flavor and can take a coil at least .02. She is saying she likes the artic but it seems like the artic by horizon's tank is small? I have no clue, and the reason for at least a 100 or a 150 watt for my wife is if I got her another 75 watt and she vapes at 64 I think she is kinda close to maxing the mod out where a 100 or 150 it's not pushing the mod that much. I'm I thinking right? Please help me I just want to get all this stuff straight with good tanks the proper GOOD battery's and of course good mod's. Tired of wasting money and just want to get this done. I'm back to smoking and want to stop and I kinda get the feeling my wife is right around the corner to start smoking again due to frustration. And yes we only use quality juice. Thanks for your help. And i'm really sorry if I sound all confused because I am. Ok i gotta go now and beat my head off the wall again.

ITS downside is
it needs more power
its .5 ohm coils shine between 50-60 watts
which means 2 things
it uses a good amount of juice and battery life
so depending on how much you vape will determine how the battery lasts
the samsung 25r are probabaly the 2nd best battery you can choose
they are the most popular battery on the market
the only better choice is a LG HG2 because it has a little more mah
the tank also has TC coils available. so you can use those in TC mode with your SIG
You should be fine
you just need to get used the amount of vapor that tank will produce
make sure you REALLY PRIME THE COILS before firing them
For your wife the sig 75tc sucks
its HEAVY HEAVY
And its programmed to say low battery sooner then most other mods. Other mods will last longer with the same battery at the same wattage
a nice light weight dependable mod similar is the IPVd2
depending on how much she vapes a lg hg2 can a good part to the whole day even at 64 watts.
if she wants a dual battery mod then the sig 150tc is agood choice or an asolo.

Thank you very much for your advise. You just don't know how much this helps and how much I appreciate it. Yeah that was a long paragraph lol. Kinda was like a frustration whatever I mean thing. And yes I meant a .2 sorry. Mattp 169 thank you also for your help. Will take your advise along with shark and run with it and be done. Thank you both again for all your help. You just have no clue how frustrated I was until now.
The eVic vtc Mini is the perfect balance between power looks and value. The mod alone can be had for 35 bucks and I highly recommend the aspire triton 0.4 ohm coils which fit in MANY different tanks including the Starr and arctic tank just to name a few. I rarely vape over 40 watts. It's not about the power it's about what keeps me off the butts.

YES THE VTC MINI IS A GREAT DEVICE

but the vtc only goes to 60
now that doesnt mean she couldnt make it work, but i did want to point that out
as far as the OP asking is it better to use a 100+ watt mod when you are already using 64 vs a mod that only goes to 70 or 75
if 64 is the max your gonna push then a 75 watt device is fine
your not pushing the device to its limit and causing undue electrical stress on it or anything like that to my knowledge
to use devices at say 100 watts or more
theres only a couple tanks on the market that have prebuilt coils that can really work well at that high wattage. such as the tfv4 with its sextuple coil
ive pushed a crown with the .25 coil to 100 but its better for me at lower watts
dont worry about high ass wattages like 100. its nice to have the head room if you need it later believe me
i have a 200w ipv 3li that never goes above 60 watts, but if I ever want to try something that needs 100 watts or more, I can. But I also have a ipv d2 that can only go to 75 and it does everything I want at the moment.

I am guessing your wife is using the .3 ohm coil or so on that aspire. which imho does do well in that 60 watt range. if thats what she likes tahst what she should use for now to help her stay off teh cigarrettes.

so possibly a 60 pg or 50 pg juice might work better for her on that tank.

But there are many factors to BURN/DRY hits on any tank. It doesnt matter what tank you have, burned hits can and will happen. I would search the forum for a thread or 3 discussing the particular tanks you are using to find out what issues people have encountered and how they dealt with them

what I meant to explain was that most newer vapers don't need to bring the wattage up to 40 or more watts to get a warm satisfying flavorful nicotine filled vape which is to say most people that vape over 50 watts are cloud chasers. Personally when going over 40 watts it is too warm and tends to taste like burnt juice...to me...
If you use a wattage power hungry coil (0.2 or 0.3 especially the dual vertical coil type) then yes by all means go for the 100 watt box mod but if you use a 0.4 or 0.5 single coil then high wattage isn't necessary...in my experience. either way good luck with your vaping journey and hey whatever keeps you off the stinkies !
I just recently unloaded my sig 75w tc device. It was well built, but heavy and the short battery cutoff ticked me off. I replaced it with the eVic mini, and could not possibly be any happier. Light, small, well built, and now 75w tc...To the O.P. I'm just reflecting back to when Many of us were using the crappy cig a likes and ego's to quit smoking because that was the only options we had, talk about frustrating. You have no idea how good new vapers have it now with all the great equipment available today. Stay strong, you'll kick the habit.

NEED 50+ WATTS TO SHINE imho
a .5 DVC coil in any of those may be ok at 40watts
but I and others like the flavor much better in the 50-60 range - not about the clouds in this case
And since the op ordered a starre
then a device with at least 60 watts is best

what I am talking about when I say DVC
thats Dual Vertical Coil
meaning theres 2 coils wrapped together in the starre/maganus and crown .5 coils
the atlantis uses only a single coil
a dual coil at .5 can take alot more power then a .5 single coil with out tasting burnt
