Hey guys , I am going to try and make this short cause I have a tendency to blather on and on . Starting now! I have a cortex 80 watt and a tank that came with it . I find that I enjoy like a 70% vg juice with it but every 5 or 10 pulls I'm getting the worst suprise dry hit ever . Always a great suprise . Lol .Do they make a tank for this thing that can handle a higher vg? Looking for as reasonable as possible as far as $ goes. I'm not even sure what's compatible with this thing . I'm clueless and my local vape shop is always trying to rip me off .Thanks to all

Looking at the kit that I found online I'm assuming you have the isub s tank. What wattage are you running, and with what coil? Are you running power mode or TC? Most sub ohm tanks are fine with 70VG juice.

I am running in power mode between 30w n 50w . I took a pic of the tank . I'll get one of the coil next . The dude at the vape shop said I needed a diff tank n the one he showed me had a huge coil in it made sence but I know I can do better than 75 bills for one . I just don't wanna waste no more money I did that for 20 years smoking. Lol

Can't tell from the pic, but what ohm is the coil you're using?

I really hit this thing hard all day . It prob can't soak up the juice fast enough ? Guess I'm kinda asking.... 2.5 second hits at 40 watts like a chain smoker .

You could try taking a pin and slightly prick at the cotton at the juice ports on the coil, it will loosen up the cotton a bit and help the wick pick up juice faster.

A Crown tank would work well with your high VG juices, (or a TVF4 for that matter) but you might need a mod with higher wattage and maybe even a dual 18650 device. Tons of nice devices out there less than $50.00.

The Crown should work well. There's a break in period on the coils but it's a top ranked tank and able to handle the higher VG. At 80w you won't be able to max out the coils but should get a solid vape out of it. I'm a fan of the TFV4 but you'd want a higher power device and it's more expensive both in itself and the replacement coils. So considering the economics of it The Crown seems like the best fit.

I can get a great vape out of my Crown in the 60 watt range, which your device is capable of - look around online, especially since Uwell (the Crown's manufacturer) is pushing their new Rafale you should be able to score a Crown (or a Smok TFV4, the other hot tank at the moment, though one that might need a bit more power) for $25 or less. $75 for a tank is straight insane...

You shouldn't be spending more than $35 for a tank and that includes shipping costs. (ok maybe a few dollars more sometimes). If any sort of atomizer/tank is being sold for more than that you bet there will be some clone available within a month for $15 or less.

http://www.vaperoyalty.com/uwell-crown-sub-ohm-tank-stainless/ - $20+shipping

https://www.vapingwalrus.com/crown-sub-ohm-tank-by-uwell -$28 but free shipping

You can get the TFV4 at both of those sites but like I said a tad more expensive but no where near $75.

http://vapenw.com/catalogsearch/result/?cat=0&q=tfv4 - $25-26 for the TFV4.

Google is your friend too, just be careful about ordering from overseas it can take a while before it shows up.

I know Vapingwalrus has treated me well. VapeNW has treated others well. I've heard some bad things aobut Vaperoyalty but they've been around a while. Lots of reputable vendors, and always worth checking their social media pages for discount codes, takes a couple minutes and might luck out and find a 10% off or something (good idea for all online vaping purchases in general).

Anyways, yeah Vape Shops mark things up, sometimes by ridiculous amounts, but it's how they stay in business. It's nice to get people to actually go talk to and get tips/advice so I like that they exist but 2-3X the cost on things, well, I can ask questions on a forum like this for that savings :D

I've always said I'd pay 20-30% more to buy in person and form a relationship with a local vendor...but the local shops, I've found, are 200-300% more than online. For that kind of markup I'll do my homework online and buy wisely...

pretty comparable, 2 weeks to a little over a month depending on the juice, can often eek out a couple more weeks past that point if you are willing to boil them clean and dry them out well. Dark, caramelizing juices kill them faster than comparably clear juices, although I've had some super sweet clear ones that gunked up pretty fast as well.
