Old hexohm?

So I have an old hexohm of which I thought I'd lost, turns out it was in an old backpack in my garage, the paint on its hammond box has started peeling away, looks a bit crap but internally afaik it all worked previously, so would assume it still does but haven't tested it just yet. My question is, has anybody transplanted the innards to another box, perhaps a nicer cnc'ed one and how did it go?

Contact them, they actually have a really good warranty program…at least back in the day. They are one of the few still around though.
