You wouldn't believe the sob stories I hear about their $5K a month shaq payment, then top that off with a couple car loans....the guy and wife are working, the dogs are doing tricks, the kids are just staring at their cells phones with eyes of a junkyard dog.
I used to be in that condition (in debt over my head) but I wised up and paid things off.
In my day, there were no cell phones (bought on daddy's credit card) and even us kids had jobs after school instead of being lazy ass parasites.
I HAD to work all through school (all school), since I was tall enough to reach a cash register....and I'm glad I was taught the facts of life at a very early age.
I was raised in poverty (single mother, father did not even pay child support - I even spent one year in a foster home)... anyway, if I wanted new jeans for the coming school year, I had to pick berries and have a paper route and wash dishes in a cafe, etc. Today's children have no clue about the facts of life.
Stopped at the store on the way home from work today, the place is stripped down to just shelving. There wasn't even a can of sardines left.....couldn't believe my eyes.
The manager said you have to get in before "they" wake, like 6:00-9:00 AM. I guess since most are not working they don't bother looking at the time "early" in the morning.

As long as we learn from our mistakes, they can be forgiven. If you screw up and keep screwing up time after time after time, you should leave the planet.But I've fucked up too, just not recently.....

As usual, I am mad at the weather bozos. Yesterday, they said last night's low would be +5 ºF. If you recall, last night I said it would be Zero. And the winner is? It was -0.2 ºF (yes, Zero!). It got all the way up to 28 ºF today and bob created paths through all that fresh snow, and the Guessers then declared tonight's low would only get down to +20. Guess what. It is already down to 13 ºF... When are these fuckheads going to even get close to reality?

Stopped at my sisters house today to bitch about stupid people, she said you sound like you need a few tranquilizers, I said your goddamn right I do......she handed me a dozen or so.....they actually work nicely. I thanked her and went on my merry way.....when I got home I popped a couple of the goofballs....its wearing off now, need to pop a couple more before I hit the rack.

You live in too big a town. The bank in Faith is still open and when I walk in the door, even though that happens only about once a quarter, the teller says "Hi Rich!" Same thing happens when I walk into the City of Faith office. But Faith is just under 400 population.
I'd be willing to bet the same things occur in Cottonwood or Prescott Valley.

Can I bitch, too? I think I'm old enough. I took the battery cover off one of my mods this morning to change the battery, and the lower magnet came loose from the mod body and was stuck to the door magnet. I didn't notice until I couldn't get the door back on right. Argh... I pulled the loose magnet off, put a couple drops of super-duper-glue (it's good stuff!) in the recessed slot the battery goes in, and put the magnet in backward. 
I guess I turned it over without noticing. Now, of course, the door is screaming, "GET ME AWAY FROM THIS THING!" LOL! The little recess is the same size as the magnet, wouldn't you know it, but I got the pointy tweezers out and started trying to pry the thing back out. No go. So I got a small, sharp paring knife (Rich, don't read any farther!), eventually got the tip wedged in the tiny crack, and pried upward. It slipped right out and poked me in the finger. Ow. I tried again a few times, and finally got it out, but the mod is white, and now it's red and white. Got the magnet turned around the right way and stuck it back in its little hole and put the cover back on, then got a damp dish cloth and wiped all the blood off the mod.
My finger's OK now, it was just a little poke, and it's not bleeding anymore, but it just goes to show you, don't do fine detail work early in the morning!
