I slept about 2-hrs last night, my stomach was killing me for some bizarre reason. Drank a couple cups of peppermint and spearmint tea this evening, feel normal again.

That seems to be my answer too, but probably for different reasons. I became 100% disabled (and, therefore, forcefully retired) back in 1998 (though not on the government rolls until 2000), but we moved from Orygun to South Dakota and acquired a tiny hobby farm. Anyone familiar with milk cows, horses, chickens, etc., knows that even if you do not have a 9-to-5 job, you actually have more work to do with all these critters... sunrise to sunset (longer if there's a problem), seven days a week, 365/year, with no holidays or vacations. We do not even know what a "day off" is anymore.
Seems you're right in the inner circle for age here. Dale (Inspects) is somewhere in his 60s, as is Lannie (my WIfey) and I am 71 (the official antique of this crowd).
I'd love to have a time machine and go back to the '60s (before 'Nam and the draft - I was class of '67). Nope, was not a hippy, and I usually botch the flower child phrases (Right arm! Farm out! Outta state!) but even though the politicians were just as crooked back then, they didn't flaunt it like today. Seems like today they flip the finger at us, saying, "I am a liar, a cheat, a crook, and there's not a damn thing you morons can do about it."
