One coil isn't working like it was?

They're the stock coils in the combo rdta 2 and last night i went to adjust one coil, now it takes much longer to heat up than the other and doesn't get quite as hot as the other.

Before I just buy more, is there anything I can try?

Tighten the screws on both coils.

Checked them, they were tight. Managed to figure it out just by readjusting the coils. I think it's time for new ones though :\
