I was on another thread talking about One on One and decided to check out there site. I was clicking around and found this http://oneononeflavors.com/collections/free-diy-flavoring and this http://oneononeflavors.com/collections/free-e-liquid-30ml

There are only 8 flavors listed for FREE, the flavors I mention below are flavors I purchased.

You only get 1 Free item per order, you can't get all 8 flavors for free or you can choose the Free pre-mixed Energy Drink.

If you decide to order some other flavors that are not on the freebies link there is a 25% off coupon: eliquidrecipes-25

I really like there Sweetener, it is not Sucralose of Stevia based, they won't say but it does have some Citrus notes to it, I like to use it in fruit vapes at 1% or less to brighten them up a bit.

There Sugar Butter Cookie is pretty good, I use it anywhere from 2 to 4%.

The Strawberry Sour Belts is pretty good. I haven't had a chance to try it in a mix yet but my standalone tester at 5% is pretty tasty. I have heard others go as high as 12% with it, I might go a little higher on my next tester but maybe 7%.

I hear good things about there Cream Milky Undertone so I added that to my cart along with Sugar Cone, Butter Toffee, Watermelon Happy Rancher and Golden Sponge Cakes, the last one has pics of Twinkies so I am hoping it will be a good Yellow Cake replacement.

On the freebies they say while supplies last

I guess so!

I clicked on the 1st link you kindly provided and only 8 flavors appeared. None of them were the ones you mentioned...mostly standard fruit type flavors.

:thanks:

I guess I should have been more clear, there are only 8 flavors for free that you saw in the link. The other flavors I mentioned are ones I purchased ;)

Thanks for straightening me out!

The ones you ordered do sound very nice and I am sure I am not alone in looking for your future review.

Thanks for the link.
I ordered the DIY Butter Pecan flavor.
Does anybody know a "middle of the road" starting percentage to use.
Thanks

I haven't tried the Butter Pecan yet but they list Suggested Usage: 3%-5% which seems reasonable.

I got my shipping confirmation and all 8 free flavors and the 30ml Free pre-mixed Energy Drink are all listed as shipped. I wasn't sure if I could get all 9 free items, I will update this thread if they all show up in a day or 2.

The ridiculously high percentages you have to use is what I don't like about OOO flavors. They're not kidding when they recommend 15%, I've tried about 5 of their flavors and they are pretty tasteless at less than 10%.
The flavors they have are interesting and unique on paper, but when you consider that you have to use 5 times as much flavoring as Flavourart or TFA makes them prohibitively expensive to use. I guess if you find something that's worth it and unavailable by any other manufacturer, you might want to consider them, but the price per mix is the killer for me.

Awesome ty. I had ordered one flavor that I did not like at all by them so this is great because I will get the chance to try 8 flavors and it was less than $4

I only wound up getting 1 free flavor, is it just me or is it not very clear on what is free?

I have an email into them because I paid the higher shipping for the extra free stuff I thought I was getting so I at least want that difference refunded. I just got a reply from them before I even had a chance to finish this post, they said they would send me more free samples to make it up and apologized for not making it more clear.

I do appreciate the quick response from them and will edit the first post to clear things up.

So one of the other post says they received 8 bottles free for $4 but you paid more (it sounds like) and only got 1 free before they made the adjustments? I'm kind of confused, I'm just starting DIY so I really don't know what I should buy, can someone make suggestions for me? How would I make a purchase optimizing the free offers and get a good array of flavors?

If someone did get 8 free bottles then there a lot more lucky than I am. My shipping notification said that everything was shipping out but I only got the flavors I paid for and 1 free flavor, the other free flavors I ordered were not included.

I do like the Sugar Butter Cookie and Strawberry Sour Belts from One on One, those are not on the free list though. Just make sure and use the 25% off coupon I listed in the first post so the price is more reasonable. The Sweetener from One on One is something I will reorder for sure when I run out, it is different than any other mfg's sweetener as it is not sucralose based, I am not a fan of sucralose.

If you are just starting out in DIY then there is a wealth of information in this forum, this is where I learned. You might want to start a new thread and list what kind of juices you enjoy vaping so people can suggest flavors that will help you make the best juice for your needs.

I was mistaken about the free quantity, I had to reread the post.

I agree, though rice pudding is full of flavour and tastes just like a rice pudding.....if it had been vomited.

Some of the ones I tried are ok, but none I would actually recommend.

I have heard good things about OoO Cream (Milky Undertone) so I ordered it in PG, it is also available in VG. Just mixed up some simple Strawberries and Cream using all OoO.

Cream M.U. 6%
Strawberry Cotton Candy 5%
Ripe Strawberry 3%

As a shake n vape the first thing I noticed is Wow, is this creamy, I think I should have used less Cream, maybe about 4%, gonna be interesting how it steeps.

My take away is the Cream M.U. might be a real keeper, not sure about Strawberry cotton candy but it smells good so that's why I wanted to try it, there ripe strawberry is pretty good.

I also had a chance to make a tester of the Sugar Cone, mixed at 3% it was a little harsh as a shake n vape, I hate throat hit. After 2 days steep though the harshness has gone away and it is tasty, might need 1% more as a standalone but I like it. It does taste like a sugar cone as well so I am thinking some ice cream mixes would be nice with it.

I am still waiting for slowtech to get the bottles I ordered to me, then I will make testers for the other flavors. Really looking forward to Butter Toffee, it smells great.

I am about 30 miles from One on One so I did a will call and luckily the owner was passing by the showroom when I was there and we got to talking. I asked him about the percentages they recommend at 10 to 15%. He said that they put that up when they sold mainly for baking and other uses but when they really got into vaping they found that 3 to 5% was all that was needed for a lot of there flavors. They have made most of there new flavors to be more concentrated as well and I find that 3 to 5% is really enough for a lot of there flavors.

They are now manufacturing e-liquid for other companies as well in there ISO Lab and I got to see some of the bottles they made and it is very professional. If you wanted to start your own juice line there prices are very reasonable.
