ONi Mod getting hot

After hounding me for weeks to sell one of my mods I finally sold my co worker my ONi. He put an EGo tank on it and it had a Sony VTC4 inside. I recommended to him that he get a sub tank. The thing ended up burning his hand and the magnet at the bottom seems to have lost it's magnetic properties so the button sticks now.......

Can this be fixed?

So does anybody have any idea of what the heck she opened here? Everything was fully functional when I have it to him.

Shorting, joules heating and blew the magnets due to the short.

Even without the shorting issue, clearomizers and mechs aren't an ideal combination. Dude needs a regulated, variable device.

That's what I told him, but he insists on a mech mod, even AFTER I told home to go to a VAPE shop not a SMOKE shop, and if he got a tank, he needed a SUB OHM tank
