Ordered Sony vtc4 from imr batteries...

Like the title says, I ordered some vtc4's from imr batteries as I was told they were a trusted vendor. As I'm inspecting them, comparing to pictures on the Internet to see if they are fake, sure enough it looks to me like they are. Can anybody help verify? And furthermore, can anybody tell me where I CAN get authentic vtc4's?

Those real-fake photos are meaningless.
The fakes can look just a real as the authentic, depending on the skill of the people that print and wrap them.

This is why I buy 25R's...there are over 12 specific way to tell if its real...and they perform just as nice

I wouldn't really trust any VTC-4's out there right now as Sony has issued cease and desist orders to wholesalers to stop selling these to the public.

Based on your photos they "look" legit.
However I am not a battery expert nor have I played one on tv.
Use them, if they work well for you, kudos.
If they run dead in 1/2 the time, bummer.
Odds are you got a good deal on them.
I don't believe IMR would knowingly sell fakes.
If for some reason they were to come into fakes, it would be without their knowledge.
I can't imagine they'd risk their reputation over a few batteries.

They are on the charger now, I guess I'll be able to tell with time. Should I notice a shorter ramp up time vs my LG he4's?

Those are not VTC4s. Those are VTC5s.

The batteries with the little black square as far as I know are the real ones. My girl that gets my batteries for me would not sell me fake batteries

They ARE VCT4s, just look at the picture. The stamp clearly shows VCT4.
