So finally got in the VG and PG today! Of course now we have to try out all our new gear... here is how it went...

CgS_Drone ran and got us a 2 quart crock pot, then we had to test what temperature low kept us at (we got the version without warm) Turns out perfect! Low is 150 degrees +/- 5. We put the new bottle of VG in the heated water to make it easier to handle. Now we have figured out we still need a few items, a funnel and larger ml syringes (we only have 1ml currently) How is it possible that Walmart does not have any damned funnels?

Ok so we found this really nice juice made locally that CgS_Drone really really enjoys, and so we made sure to get the 3 flavors that we knew were in it to try and get an acceptable clone of it... CgS_Drone is wanting to try out some other fruit first - but the second I smelled the Kiwi (TFA), I told him that was the main flavor... So we mixed up 200ml of 70vg/30pg mix and culled out 5ml for our first shot of kiwi at 5% flavor. CgS_Drone wants to go ahead and "shake and bake"? (not sure if that is the correct terminology for mix and hit so you will have to give me the right saying) Well long story short - even if we never get a good clone - Kiwi is definitely going to be a main staple in our vaping rack. ;)

Quick summary: New crock pot - tested but as yet unused, apparently our area is having a funnel crisis so we will have to order one online, first DIY E-liquid an inhaling success!

Next step: Get a bigger batch of Kiwi made up with some Nicotine and then see how steeping affects flavor and try out more flavors...

Ain't it FUN? :D

My first was Raspberry (sweet) (TFA). It's still my favorite single flavor shake and vape.

Check the kitchen aisles for funnels anywhere :) I will say, I rarely use one. So happy for you both!

Shake and vape away guys! Have fun. Happy New Year.

I just need to check some other stores. I went through Wallyworld last night trying to find one. I hit the kitchen isle, pharmacy, auto, crafts section with no luck. It's always the same story if you don't want it they have tons of it but the second you want something its impossible to find LOL.

I bought a funnel online when I started. Turned out it was too small and it took too long using it. Gotten by with a 20 mL syringe when diluting my 100mg nic since then. Not a required item.

I'm looking for one in the 50mm range funnel because trying to get the liquid from a graduate into the small opening on those bottles just isn't happening for me. When I start transferring it from that bottle to smaller bottles for dripping I will get syringes.

Put the crock pot to use today 4hrs: Blueberry Extra TFA 5% (hubby didn't think it tasted like much especially blueberries - I liked it and thought it tasted just like blueberries) Juicy Peach TFA 5% (Really good peach flavor, especially after you've hit it several times - like it comes up from behind) Pear TFA 5% (I wanted to try this one - its good but I think its one of those that probably complements something else - hubby was surprised he liked it) Pineapple TFA 5% (Again my choice, I like it alone but think it will be going into a variety of cocktails... hubby thought it tasted chemically - he is not a fan of pineapple in general) On a side note we did cleanse our palates between flavors with bottled water. I'm finding it hard to come up with new ways to describe how something tastes, lol...

Try the Pear at 8%, and let it steep until it changes to a nice golden yellow color. It is one of my favorites. I even have a tank loaded with it right now.
