panzer mod clone won't fire, pin too short, delrin too high

hey i have to unscrew the bottom button a little so that it makes the firing pin longer, i noticed that the delrin around the firing pin in the bottom button is too high and the firing pin when pushed in won't reach the battery,
anyone know how to fix this without having to sand down the delrin??
