Parallel or series

Up until now, I've used only integrated cell mods. Now I just got a Kanger Kbox 200. What I'd like to know is if these batteries are in parallel or in series.....and exactly what does that mean to me. Does either double the Mah of the battery or increase voltage?
Any and all feedback is appreciated!

In a mech, it's a critical distinction.
But in a regulated mod, the difference is at best negligible.

With high voltage settings, the parallel mod will be far more likely to need to "boost" above the batteries' level. That is marginally less efficient. But gentler on the batteries.

Or perhaps the difference is slightly greater than I picture because... series is the norm.
If you ever wonder with a new mod... see if it lights up with just the first battery installed.
That's parallel. Series requires all the batteries, to complete the power circuit.

I think it makes a difference in practice, series APVs have no problems reaching 150W natively and PULSING up to 200W, does not appear to be the case with parallel setup, although parallel APVs have "reportedly" longer battery life, safer charging and cooler discharge.

I have ordered the new Parallel iStick TC100W and emailed Eleaf asking why the device is limited to 100W and here is the response i got

"Dear friend,
1.The iStick TC100w has parallel connection, it can't reach 150w now.
2. The firmware upgrade will improve the watt."

There's more to it than I've bothered to think about.
For now, I'll settle for my pedestrian sub-ohm heads and builds happily running from a mere 3v to a whopping 4v and change.

I'm not sure I can picture what the hell I would throw seven or eight volts at.
But my i100 goes to 10v. That's a lot of boost. :eek:
Not sure I have an RDA big enough. :p

using 7V is easy to imagine :) i vape on 7V 60W with a 0.8 Ohm SS316 build, higher voltage comes handy in that resistances range.

I'm thinking of sheer mass and heat.

What's the build?
Vertical 8 very spaced wraps 4mm ID wrapped in lots of thick and fluffy Japanese cotton, takes lots of power for the spacing and cotton saturation around it needs it for a warm vape
