I'm sure it's been asked before, but what causes the pepper taste. oxidized nic?

How the nic is processed? I have some other juice from the same company, Blue Dot Vapor, and it has no pepper taste to it.

oxidation of the nic...also the more nic in the juice the stronger the pepper taste. 6mg isn't going to be as peppery as 18 mg.

This is all 3mg. must have been a really bad batch of nic

Not all nic tastes peppery at high nic amounts - mine doesn't - I use Nude Nicotine. Vapers Tek is another good nic.

Thanks for the information. I have to start getting into DIY. I wrote the company that sent me the juice, said the nic must have oxidized, and are sending me out new juice.

I've been told peppery flavor is due to oxidation, as others have said. I've found it in some mystery nic suppliers, but Nude and Vaperstek are crystal clear on the purity scale - would recommend going with one of them depending on where you are shipping-wise. Nude can take a while to ship, but they're in my backyard - VT is great too but shipping costs help settle my coin flip.

Like others have stated I have both Nude nic and vaperstek and can't tell a difference, both are clean nic and don't alter the flavor of your juice.

I prefer VT ...nude nic had the fuck up about shipping out nic with higher than posted nic levels which made me question their quality control....I'm sure they cleared it all up though.VT just seems to be a little cleaner tasting but not by all that much...
