Ever since the PlayStation 5 Pro skyrocketed in price earlier this year to almost $900, I have been eagerly looking forward to Amazon Prime Day to see if we can get any decent discounts on the world's most powerful console.
While the standard console hasn't seen any price drops, Amazon Resale is currently offering up to an extra 25% off for Prime members through to June 26. This is a huge opportunity for gamers looking to save on expensive consoles, such as the PS5 Pro, which is currently down to $695.45.
With the bonus 15% off applied to this deal, it's over $200 off the new MSRP, and while it isn't a fantastic deal compared to its previous price drops in recent years, it is a whole lot easier to stomach if you missed out before the infamous price hikes.
It's also in a "Used - Very Good" condition, with Amazon stating that it has "Minor cosmetic damage on top, front, or side of the item. Minor packaging damage observed during inspection."
All things considered, that's not too bad at all, and a much better deal than you'd likely find buying second-hand hardware elsewhere. Plus, ordering with Amazon means you get guaranteed free returns if the item isn't up to scratch.
While some may turn their nose up at buying refurbished or used hardware, it really is the best way to save on big purchases in 2026. Deals like this are certain to sell out fast as well, so I'd snap one up ASAP if you've been waiting for a decent deal.
But, if this does sell out, there's also a "Used - Like New" option also up for grabs for a tiny bit more today as well.
With Grand Theft Auto 6 preorders just around the corner on June 25, now could also be the perfect time to pick up what will undoubtedly be the best way to play GTA 6.
There's also an excellent Switch 2 deal in the same offer right now at Amazon, alongside deals on other PS5 consoles, controllers, Switch games, and loads more you can save that up to an extra 25% on during Prime Day.
