Gave up with my mini nautilus due to constant flooding. Saw reviews on aero tank v2 saying flavour was good.
It's working brill. No flooding or gurgling loads of vapour. Just taste yuck. first has Danish cinnamon now custard both taste chemically. The coil is the one already fitted. Running around 3.8 v. Air hole tightish to try draw more juice in. This is my second tank having problems. Was using evod glass before and taste was fine with same coils. Just wanted to upgrade. Any advice

If you wanted to upgrade I think you are going in the wrong direction by not using the nautilus any more. I haven't even received my mini naut yet (should be herein about a week), and I've already watched enough reviews to tell you that your leaking is probably user error. You might want to double check everything is snug together ( but not too tight) and never fill the tank up past the middle hole. By the design on the BVC coils, I can't even fathom the idea that they are just leaking for no reason, it doesn't make sense unless you got a knock off or a very defective coil. I'd suggest going back to your aspire products, and take them apart piece by piece, washing everything out with hot water, and allowing to air dry. Then *carefully* put everything back together and see what happens.

Also have you checked with the manufacturers to make sure all of your hardware is genuine and not cheap knock-offs?

It is my 2nd nautilus. The shop replaced the first one. I did the scratch and check on both. Been trying with it for 5 weeks. When it's working it's great. But it still floods all the time

Any advice on the aero tank v2

I will keep trying with the nautilus. But I need the aero tank as a back up when the mini floods any advice would be great.

1: make sure you are not covering the air holes when you vape
2: suck slowly you should hear the cracking sound of your juice turning to vape
3: use a thicker juice I use 50/50 PG/VG
4: if you don't hear the cracking sound take a pipe cleaner and dry out your coil chamber.

5: turn up your battery voltage (if you got a VV battery)
6: use a lower number resistant coil (I use 1.8)

I found if I use a higher VG (more than 50/50)that the PG goes thru the wick faster and the last of the juice is too thick. I was having to clean out the last of my juice with hot water, before refilling my tank.

If I didn't clean out my tank the thicker juice would mix with the refill juice and get to the point that it became too thick to go thru the wick. I would get a burnt taste because even though the tank had juice the wick was dry.

It's 1.8. I cant go below 4.5 volts or it floods. I do draw long and very lightly I let the ecig do the work. I get about 6-7 good draws then flooding. I take drip tip off and put paper towel down to dry liquid out or flick it hard downwards to get liquid out. Easy enough to do but gets annoying when you have to keep doing it

I use 50/50 or 60/40. I tried a heavy vg juice didn't seem to make much difference to flooding but got more vaper but the flavour wasn't as good

Always largest air hole. I will keep trying with it. But could do with some help with the aero tank. Could it be the coil as it was the one already fitted. What volts can you run dual coils on. Dont think I burnt it. It just taste yuck.

Try pushing your button and wait a sec or so before you inhale. When you do get a good toke do you hear the coil crackel?

Yes I always press for couple of seconds before drawing. Trying to heat coil beforehand. It just seems to wick to quickly. I don't understand why but if I go abit higher in voltage to starts to gurgle as well. Which doesn't make sense.

Could it be the way I vape. I do tend to chain vape abit. I hold fire button 2 seconds draw for about 6 seconds. Is that too long a draw maybe or not long enough ?

Sounds like you are doing everything right.
How often do you changed your coils?
Does it do any better after you put in a fresh coil?
What flavor are you vaping?

I've gone through so many coils. It floods on all of them. First 10 draws are great then it happens again. I've tried all different flavours. At the moment grants vanilla custard. The flavour is the best and vapour. Without a doubt its a fantastic tank when it's working. The most I've had is two weeks but ive washed all the coils and put them to dry cause I think I changed a lot of them when flooding happened as I thought the coil was the problem and they are probably still fine

The contact area of the battery with the tank... are they both clean, silver, dry?

Yes I have two new batteries I use an Itaste clk 1280 and an aspire vv+ Since I've been on here ive been using the mini its flooded twice but it's been easy to sort out just took drip tip off and flicked it down to remove liquid. Sometimes I can fill a tank and it's not to bad another time it's bad. Maybe something to do with the vacuum. I try to never open the tank once I've fill it right up or it causes problems till I refill to top again.

weird, i really dont know why a a few are having leaking issues, its gotta be battery compatability or user error somewhere. i get that some coils may be dud from time to time, but leaking tanks is just weird. sorry i cant help! keep going, you'll get there in the end

That's odd..I just recently bought a Aerotank v2 myself, and just with using it like any other ProTank I can't make it leak.
I just vaped it upside down for kicks...didn't leak. I'm using the 1.8 ohms heads at 9-10W on an Innokin SVD with the air halfway open, FWIW.

The only thing I can think of, is maybe the head and that plastic grommet might not be quite secure? Or, the most common cause - getting liquid into the air tube by over-filling.

Where is it leaking from?

Hi Caff
The flooding problems is with the mini nautilus.
With the aero tank which I've only recently bought its a horrible taste I'm getting. Its the coil that came fitted in the tank tried 2 different juices they both taste not burnt just chemically.

Ah, sorry...I've not had a Nautilus yet.

Might just be a bad coil in the Aero's head. If you ever look down in there, some of the factory coils are all spaced oddly and basically don't work because of hot spots.

Ahh thank you. I will try a new coil. Do they need a lot of priming. Also as they are dual coil. Do you not need to much voltage. I run my nautilus at 4.5v. Maybe to high for the aero tank ?

i have an aerotank V2 since last week with 1.8ohm and an istick...the first 4days i was vaping a 50/50 pg/vg at 4.8volt and it was awesomeeee but then it had a very strong burnt taste so i changed the coil (like a normal humain would do) after cleaning every part. Now after 2 or 3 draws at 3.7volt the burnt taste starts again...
anyone can help me with this?
and does the new dual coil at 1.2 and 1.5 ohm are better?
