I have been making ejuice for the better part of 8 months now and I can make some pretty damned good 3mg vape juice. But not everyone vapes 3mg juice like me and I'm starting to make juice for other people. I'm a direct to lung vaper.. I'm tryin to make some sweet fruity 9mg 70/30 VG / PG juice for a friend that vapes mouth to lung on an ***Aspire k 4 **setup . Do I need to up the flavor ratios considerably? If so how much would you recommend? Or do I need more enhancers /sweeteners and more steeping time for higher nic mg?

Personaly I have not needed to up the flavor percentages for mtl although that may be because of my tank (merlin mini) but maybe not. I dont mtl too much though so dont take my word for it. Best bet would be to put some of your 3mg juice in the tank, try it, and adjust accordingly to perfect it for mtl.

Honestly, I think your flavor ratios should be OK. My advise would be to mix how you normally would, at the higher nic strength of course, and maybe bump up your PG percentage some, like 40/60 PG/VG. Have your friends try it out and go from there.

That's roughly the nic strength that I vape, I'm a MTL vaper. My PG/VG is different, I can't take high VG. I mix no differently that what you might see posted by HIC.
What's your VG/PG ratio?

Oh and I'm also using VG Base 100mg nic select nicotine from nic river if that makes a difference. I doubt VG Base or Pg base nic makes a difference tho. Cause u adjust accordingly to your desired ratios in the end anyway.

The recipe in question is a watermelon jolly rancher type :
9% nic
Tfa watermelon @7.00%
Fw hard candy. @0.60%
Tfa sweetener (sucralose) @2.00%
70/30 VG/PG 30ml bottle..
I just mixed it earlier and gave it to my friend within the hour of mixing . After a warm bath and heavy shake. She said she can taste the watermelon a little but not as much as she would like. and she can smell it good. . And she wants it sweeter.. So maybe more sweetener and less VG ? OR.. too much hard candy?..idk With my understanding that should be enough rather more than enough fruit flavor right? Or is the tfa watermelon really that weak? .. ugh lol thanks for your comments and further replys

She might get a bit more flavor at 50/50VG, or 70/30VG.
If that tank will handle the thinner juice that is.

Although not everybody has the same taste buds.
You could just try raising up the flavor amounts a bit.

I just replied to your PM, pretty much what everyone else has already said. But one more thing to add - as you start vaping delicate fruit flavors like watermelon with higher & higher wattage, you'll notice a flavor change. Some flavorings just taste better vaped with less/more power. You'll have to work some with your friend on that, I think.

ive learned mixing for friends the less options you give them the better lol.. always take feedback and make adjustments when you can and try your best but you can go personally broke mixing for friends. :p people always wants something different but they are not sure so you adjust this and adjust that and beat your head chasing flavors for them. make 3 watermelons and say what do you like. let her choose from the 3. you will end up with a decent line up of good versatile stuff and friends can pick from those flavors. always use your friends as guinea pigs though and load them up with whatever new stuff you are working on...................................... now to your question personally I dont make any changes for different vg/pg or nic levels even if its max vg or 50/50 . dont make it hard on yourself. its nice to try and make special things for special people sometimes but if you say here is what i have normally they are perfectly happy with it, but once you ask "so what could be better?" they will always come up with something lol.

So if the nic is good then flavor profile stays the same . My nic is good she's just knows what she likes. This recipie needs more watermelon and sweetener
