Just bought a cloud beast and like an impatient child open it up and can't wait to retire my griffin. I immediately pull out rba deck and fire to even coils out giddy as a fuckin toddler.
- It doesn't read on my mod. it reads no atomizer its not my mod as it reads the prebuilt coils and other atomizers of mines. But the rba deck for my cloud beast registers as nothing! WtF SOMONE HELP PLEASE threw in another build of mine and does not read

Might check that the rba deck isn't cross threaded. Make sure that the coils are screwed in good on the rba deck and that the screws aren't stripped, it only takes one bad one.

Could also just be that the rba section is a dud. I've heard of that happening here and there. If you bought it from a B&M, take it to them for a replacement or fix. Or if online call or email the shop.Smok is a chinese company and QC is sometimes amiss, it happens sadly.

Screws stripped on arrival but managed to get them in and out for a another test build and yeah total fucking dud man I'm all sad. I even put the pre built coils in the quad and octo and both did not perform and got SUPER hot with not much vapor leading my ipv8 to readingg check batt/atty i think the whole lower section on it is a dud. I wanted this badly because my griffin leaks a whore regardless of whatever wicking method i use stuffing cotton scottish roll, into the whole juice channel nothing works. i get this tfv8 and is total dud out of box. In past 3 yrs of vaping I've ordered about 4 products from smok all duds like wtf

Ya, if the post is loose, then it's a dud. I would contact where you bought it from. I've used a TFV8. When you get the replacement, I think you'll love it. Don't give up on it. It's worth it. It lives up to the name......Cloud Beast LOL

Mine was the same way. I found the lower section was slightly loose.

On your griffin check your o-rings and make sure it's plenty of cotton also your cotton should stop at the ring.

I do not own I just read a lot and I remember people talking about the cotton. The o-rings inspection is for every tank.

My boreas would leak a little in my pocket if I didn't put enough cotton. For years I thought cotton is suppose to easily slide with very little restriction. It's not until recently that I found out that it should have more resistance. As in if you pull the cotton it would pull the mod if you didn't hold on to it. Though it's not too much that I have to struggle to get it through the coil. Hope that makes sence.
