That's a beautiful mod - but why Blem Lyfe? Blem usually indicates a manufacturing defect of some sort. Curious.

Well the story I got was instead of throwing out tubes with cosmetic defects that couldn't be polished like the rest, AV chose to coat them with one off designs and sell them along with all the rest, and called them blem lyfe and charge same or more as the polished models. Very few in existence is my understanding. I traded $450 worth of billet box and acc for it, so just trying to turn it into $ for an upcoming purchase

The story u got was correct. Erik Hutchinson got tirrd of wasting tubes that fidnt need to be wasted and one day he sst a tube down and it was to close yo a torch n the tube became hotter n hotter n hotter n boom history was made when he noticed a heat treated effect

That's awesome. So I'm guessing they are in fact pretty rare? I've seen a shit ton of mods in my time, a lot of AV, but only one all black blem lyfe

Rare? No... valuable? Yes... Ive had several different model ables and they all hit the same but all have different prices the blem lyfe is pretty popular especially if u had the matching sleeves and topcap

Guess previous owner didn't opt for the sleeve and cap. Has brass sleeve and he forgot to send black cf sleeve. Really wish I could get around the switch, I want to like it so bad but the loosen/tighten button annoys the shit out of me. It'd definitely look cool with a slotted sleeve
