The pair of 3DS games were unveiled during today's Pokemon Direct. The announcement wasn't a total surprise, since trademarks for the games leaked yesterday all but confirming their existence.
Furthermore, the recent debut of the new Pokemon Magiania, hinted that a new installment in the series was on the horizon.
The games are scheduled to release "Holiday 2016." Further details, like new legendary Pokemon or what region will play host to the new games, were not revealed.
