A new trailer for Pokemon Ultra Sun and Ultra Moon has released as part of the Pokemon World Championships, featuring some new characters and locations. Some fans have noticed what they believe may be a hint that the game could take players back to the Kanto Region from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow.
About 14 seconds into the new trailer, viewable below, a flashy character named Ryuki introducing himself to the trainer. Looking closely at the room surrounding him and the player in this scene, several factors, like the yellow color scheme and the trash cans scattered around the room, bear a strong resemblance to Lt. Surge's gym from Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow.
The Pokemon Company had no comment on whether Ultra Sun and Moon would take players back to Kanto, or if this was yet another nod to the first Pokemon region that the original Sun and Moon already often referenced.
