Poll: Help me pick a Phone

I'm getting them for free but I'm up in the air on what one...Both have pro's and con's

I do like the Note 4 but then again I do like the water proof feature on the Galaxy S5 do to my work (Painter)

I have a friend that owns a s5 and the piece broke off in no time.

I was going to say the same thing, but two of my friends got them. Phone number one lasted a week (my friend pushed it from his night stand and it shattered) . Phone number 2 lasted 1 month. It was lost in a fishing accident , but that is not the phone's fault so it doesn't count.

I got the s5 active. Not really sure what the difference between the regular S5 and the S5 active are but mine has with stood since November of last year. It's even take a few dips one of them being the ocean.

Just to make things clear..I "like" your post not because it broke but for giving me the heads up...I can see that cover being a prob but I can also see the "S pen" on the Note also being a prob as in losing it all the time...I'm looking at water proof case's for the note but I don't think I'm going to have much luck due to the pen

No Prob at all. I didn't take your like any other way than thanks for the tip. I think every phone has its drawbacks and sitting them.out by asking questions is the best way. Good luck to you. Either way you go I'm sure you will be happy with your decision. They ate both good phones

I rather enjoy my iSheep status. Probably because I have had one since the original release and I am just comfortable with them, and because we don't allow any android based devices to connect to work. So my choices are iPhone or blackberry

I was a blackberry user from the initial release then went to iPhone when the 3gs came out and stayed with them through the 5s, when I went through 2 phones in 6 months because of physical damage(they just dont like gravity anymore) I went to Android. I actually really liked Android a lot, it did exactly what my iPhone did only without having to jailbreak. Then I realized the downside to both.
Because of my job I have to run windows software on my PC's and syncing everything was a hassle so I went to a windows phone, not quite as much 'play things' but the camera is way better than any other phone i've had, the music player is great, and anything I do on my tablet, laptop or desktop is all replicated on here.
-I was never a big fan of games or anything but the mindless ones are on here-just not as wide a selection,
Kind of funny my first phone was a Nokia and I'm back to a Nokia.

I had to vote Fuck You! Not because of the device choices. Much like I am with cars, I like all the brands and don't get fan boyish over anything. The Fuck You vote comes because you are getting it FREE!

Given those 2 choices I like the Note 4. I am pretty good about not losing styluses though.

I give Jobs and Apple props to get the ball rolling on smartphones but they are being left behind and they are still overpriced...Plus I hate that fucking iTunes shit...people don't realize it's mostly a bulky store front...There are alternatives to Itunes but apple likes to make things hard for people to get alternatives...One other thing...The Apple charger cables are crap (Lightning sync cable)...Don't last long and break within months of use oh and over priced ($25+) it's been years now and apple still haven't fixed the problem... you can go to the apple forum and see the complaints... A after market company make a better one for $12...I should know I bought The after market one for my kids ipod touch 5 after what I was reading about them and when her cable broke within 2 months

I could of gotten iphones for free too (5s 64GB)...Yes I had a choice...The note 4 is a 32GB but I can add on to make it a 128GB unlike the iphones...Oh I also like the Galaxy's because you can remove the battery without all the fuss of a iphone..Oh that's right you can't remove the iphone batt yourself

The only thing I don't like about the N4 is the touch wiz interface. It feels a bit cumbersome to me.

With the iStuff I agree the apple cables are pure shit. The ones from mine an my wife's 6 plus and my old 5s never left the box. I have several of the Amazon cables in 3' and 6'. Much more durable and the 6 footers are great for charging while sitting on the couch. I use the long cable charger that came with my original iPad (3' long plug connected to a usb) then plug the 6 foot Amazon cable into that and can be up to 9 feet from the outlet while charging.
