Hope you guys love a bit of work put into a setup...
My Polished End Green Defiant DS with Polished Reload BF

Took about 7 hours to do those caps and get them as mirrored as they are, will be doing the body next...just need more time and high grit paper.

How I polish:
I start with 180 and remove the coating/deep scratches and make sure all my sanding is perfectly even, then repeat with 220, then repeat with 400, then repeat with 550, then repeat with 800, then repeat with 1000, then repeat with 1500, then repeat with 2000, then repeat with 3000, then repeat with 5000 and then buff it all with my Dremel and Metal Polish, followed by Polishing Compound. Took about 6 hours. I drew all that out on purpose to give an understanding of how much is involved....but the results are SPECTACULAR!

You may have talked me into it - I have a brand new purple one I could do something similar to.

Dammit Ray! This is all your fault. And it's a low serial number, too.

Just kiddin' buddy - I'll polish the body and leave the top and bottom purple, and the "lip" where the squonk bottle hole is. I'll use a gentler method around the S/N and DD text to try and keep them intact. It'd be great if they could hold the purple, but I'm not counting on it.

I wouldnt use the dremel for anything more than removing the coating, dont waste your own time and mod by forcing you to use more time than already required. The reason I did it all by hand was to ensure that all the surfaces were perfectly level and smooth, Ive never fancied power tools for auto-body because they always seem to make surfaces turn out wavy.
Grab some 180 grit and wrap it around a credit card and do it by hand or duct tape the paper to a table top and rub the mod over it in a "X" pattern.
Starting Finish:

Removed Clear Coat:

Then at 2000 Grit:

Then I finished the wetsanding and buffed it with the dremel:

If you do continue to use the dremel, drop the rough wheels and use those Green rubber bits, that way it removes everything off the surface but it wont remove the metal itself, its what I use on trigger groups when Im gunsmithing.

I really hope to see that thing finished! I am doing that new Trinity 20700 Tube and the DS Body here shortly...

How is it compared to the Plus?

Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk
Sorry but more clouds and taste better for starting ..... It is a flavorful tank..... The only thing that has me thinking is it holds 7ml of juice.....

The Aromamizer plus holds 10ml ....... But give me week and I'll know % which is the best....

The Aromamizer takes a day or 2 to really start tasting good...... The Glaz I mean your first hit is like BAM....... It surprised me for sure......and after 2 or 3 hits .... Condensed.....
