One of the most important parts or alien technique learning to know when your in that groove knowing when to let it rip and staying in that groove. It's easy to fall off but I'm to the point that I'm now solely using the alien technique.
I'm not embarrassed one bit. I'll look back and cherish these moments. I've learned to take a deep breath and just start over. I'm now getting one or two usable coils every run. They might not be pretty just yet but I'm getting closer and closer.
Thank you screwball. I learned the wrong way to Clapton. I'd just pinch and rip, and I suggest never doing that. I've reason is it will handycap your ability to Clapton, your not able to see your progress, I called it the "rip and pray"method. It's garbage. That young kid on YouTube teaches people the crappiest way to Clapton. I can now do it, but it's just the wrong way to Clapton.
Learning to Clapton once again the right way has helped my fused Clapton technique and now have that mirror look and know my fused are gone correctly. I thought I could alien like I did fused Clapton. I can fuse Clapton by have and probably rip out 12ft sections, you can't do that with alien free hand.
Sorry for long post. Screw ball you tought me the right way to alien. One or two coil Max is perfect
