POSTLESS SUPREME RDTA

First hit in the morning and wow, flavor explosion but a few hits after that and it wasn't as intense but still flavorful. I am thinking a little too much wick which was intentional on the first wicking to make sure I didn't get any leaking, it hasn't so much as gotten condensation around the airholes. Going to re-wick sometime this week to see if I can tweek it a little. I have the JFC wide open in case anyone is wondering.

Keep in mind I am also using big coils on a 3.5mm post so more cotton to keep it snug, might have to thin out the tails so it wicks more efficiently. Even with that slight tweek needed it is a great vape so far. I am also wondering if shorter tails with the coils closer to the deck might be better, less area for the juice to climb? That would probably have the air hitting the coils near the top though and not much room under the coils and cotton at the bottom.

I hadn't received any email but thought I would go to steam craves sites and log in to check. Mine is also shipped. Checked tracking and pre shipment info sent to usps. Awaiting pick up. Weird they didn't email me. Just glad it's getting shipped.

I am liking it a lot more than the reg supreme. I am definitely getting a flavor boost and smoother airflow with the postless deck. Could be I never got the build right with the OG AS but who knows.

I would definitely recommend it, great tank.

yeah so finally got around to this.. got the gunmetal in monday or tuesday this week... as usual, did a complete disassembly and a triple bath in the ultrasonic with a couple of drops of dawn, rinse with some distilled water and then left the parts to dry. Didn't get back to it for a week. SOP for me is to loosen the grub screws but leave in place .. usually one or more will 'work out' during the ultrasound.. no big.. so just pulled the pieces out and laid them out... and the postless screws and deck are RUSTY?? .. really don't like to complain.. but for 304 to rust is some kinda testament to the alloys used i would guess. Haven't heard anyone else having this problem.. but not a real confidence builder to say the least.
Will be cleaning the crud off and put a build on tomorrow I guess.

off topic: ended up with an OBS engine (was a giveway) and its working out great .. highly recommend this tank.. just ordered a second as a matter of fact .. :giggle:

Mine arrived yesterday and I popped a build in...might have to tweak my wicking some...Wicks fine...but not perfect (to my picky standards) I might of trimmed to much of the Rayon. So much more AF than the Lite. And I find myself only on the first JC notch. (70VG) might whip up Higher VG juice like 85/15 when the batch I have now is near end.

I didn't pick one of the Fancy colorways, chose Black...yeah boring me ;-)

Not happy with how the Drip tip fits though...might pop a different o-ring on it, really loose for my liking.

No leaks though...same condensation around AF, but that is a given for almost any Atty. and ambient temps etc.

Overall, way better than the Lite...8.5/10

I'm curious as to how wicking this with a single coil is.
You probably can do it.. just stuff cotton on the other side.... Or put a a big fat wick through the coil and put one leg on one side of the deck and one on the other side ... That way you cover all (4) holes....

I wrote Steam Crave (Maggie ) about how loose the 510 is on my AS-LE and linked a video of it being able to teeter, and compared it to the Lite...She responded..."Can you use the Lite drip tip on your Supreme" ... I almost laughed..actually I did laugh...then I e-mailed her back..."They are different size 510's, and what about the Lite then? just go without ;-) "

The Lites was wobbly also on the LE. All my 510's I have wobble on the LE.

She sends an E-mail today...We are sending you one from China..it has 2 O-Rings on it, should be there in 12-21 days!

Thanks! :wait:

I still think I may of got one where they machined it just a tad larger than it should of been.

Anyone else have their 510 wobbly on the LE?

I replaced the DT on my LE right away with one of the compression fit dot mod clone DT from fasttech and it is fine. After reading you post I decided to try other DT's with just plain orings and your right, they wobble and are loose. Oh well, not that big of a thing for me as my favorite DT's are the compression fit but sucks if I ever wanted to use a normal oring DT unless it has double orings.

Edit: I just checked my other AS and AS Lite and both of them are a little wobbly with some drip tips. Never noticed before as I usually always use compression fit DT's. Hmmmm, learn something new everyday.

I am not hearing many "raves" about this version of the AS...it seems to be too quiet around here. I am holding off ordering waiting on a few glowing reviews. Is anyone really stoked about this one???

I have not had to burp it like the boreas...None of the aches of flipping upside down with the cap half on etc...just close JFC, fill, tighten cap, Move JFC where it was and vape.

Want to give the OBS Engine a try...still searching for that one RTA that will allow me to stop using my RDAs... I should just buy more RDAs honestly lol or revisit my love hate relationship I have with my Avocado 24

lol i have a love hate with genny style RDTAs too and i love RDAs but dripping isn't always convenient (don't drip and drive). I'm on an RTA kick. looking at the engine and griffin 25+ pretty hard. been using the boreas and waiting for my supreme. The pharaoh would be perfect IMO if it had a 5ml juice well. i wouldn't mind the extra height at all. I wouldn't need another device ever lol. lack of capacity is the only negative on it. Also the modfather if it can ever be found.

HMM had an idea...

I can buy either the Engine or Griffin 25, and you buy the other... We each give it a week...Meet up or mail the other...take our notes then return them. At least that could save us the head ache of ending up buying both LOL

I like it but I'm struggling on wicking. This is my first postless deck though so I'd chalk it up to a learning curve. It's better now that I've gone to higher diameter coils and pulled it up further from the deck. Still a wip...
