Potentially looking to harvest batteries for personal use in my devices.

I currently use mxjo batteries and they've served me wonderfully, but being that my job has me on road all day without time or capabilities to charge them. This got me thinking and spp I started looking for laptop batteries that could potentially carry Sony vtc5 cells within. I searched eBay and to my surprise have found a Sony vaio battery pack with 7800mah and 11.1v which would perfectly match that of 3 vtc 5's. It looks like it could hold at least 3 but before I spend the $20 I thought I'd check in here for any input. Thanks.

The discharge rate on MXJO is 35A. Doesn't seem to be a rating readily available when I search on the discharge rate for laptop batteries. Best I found was 11.1V @ 4Ah. Trying to pull too many watts out of a battery that isn't rated for it, is not a wise plan.

FYI, most of the chargers on the market today come with a 12vdc cable so you can charge your batteries on the go.
