Well, here in Florida I am looking at the string possibilities of being without power and subsequently without vape. Ugh! First world problems I guess!

Kind of too late now, and the prices of all those items have been jacked up a 1000% and may be sold out already locally anyway.Get yourself a cell phone charger or like: will totally charge modsThere are also some amazing inverters you can plug into your car (if it's not underwater, lol)View attachment 91293
I do have power supply chargers but I can't justify using them for anything but my cell phones. Priorities and all lol

Guess my priorities are warped, lol
Would totally put vaping before a cell phone.

Another problem I see here on the forum after disasters is people claiming to have lost all their vape gear after leaving it in the basement and can some generous soul help them out?
WTF? Don't put anything valuable in the basement unless you can take it with you to avoid a tornado, don't leave it down there if there is a flood likely or even potential![]()

all of my important stuff and vape gear lives in my bug out bag,, there is no 'running around the house to look for it'..Another problem I see here on the forum after disasters is people claiming to have lost all their vape gear after leaving it in the basement and can some generous soul help them out?

Staying smoke free.Maybe it's just the difference between people who really mean to stay smoke-free, and those for whom vaping is just a fad, a "hobby," not a means of actually improving and potentially lengthening their lives.
And in this particular scenario, I can actually understand the indignation of those vapers who try to discourage non-smokers from vaping; if you aren't a smoker who desperately needs to find a way of not smoking, then vaping is just a party-trick, and if you're one of those and can't vape for a few days because there's this gi-normous historic monster of a hurricane, "Oh well." If you're a former smoker who depends on vaping to keep you from smoking, then I bet you take your vape gear with you, and you probably prioritize charging your vape batteries ahead of a damn stupid phone.
If you ARE a vaper who depends on vaping to stay smoke-free, and you still prioritize your phone over your vape gear... you need to reassess your priorities.

isn't vaping a good reason to buy a generator?
At least a little one?
I've definitely thought about talking to the bf about getting one. Have a wood stove for heat, but electric everything else.isn't vaping a good reason to buy a generator?

If you rally want emergency backup get about a 6,000 watt or a bit larger one.I've definitely thought about talking to the bf about getting one. Have a wood stove for heat, but electric everything else.
Staying smoke free.
Strangest thing was taking a break from building on a wheelchair ramp and wanted a cig!
After 2.5 years cig free, but if I had had one handy I would likely have smoked it....
Damn strange human brainz....
Well, decades-old habits like to reassert themselves sometimes
Had a similar experience last week - was going through a bunch of old stored belongings and decided to take a break. For some reason my brain told my hand to go into the top drawer of the nightstand and grab a smoke - which I did and for a nano-second was shocked to see all this vape stuff and no cigarettes or lighter, lol
Glad I finally tossed my security-blankey pack a few months ago...
If I really wanted a smoke, my Mr still puffs away, but fortunately (so far) I have some grip on those random cravings that come out of nowhere
If it's really bad, I have a little WTA tucked away, and also a supply of NETs
Tobacco harvesting is in full swing here.
Yep.They'd better hurry - it is my understanding a wet tobacco crop is like wet cotton....
Wheelchair ramp is up and primed.
Still need to add guard/hand rails on one side though.
I am on top of a ridge... Most of the state would be under water before it bothered me.Just think - if it does get flood high in your area, you can also use it as a boat ramp!
I'm here in FL, as well. I charged up all my batteries before the storm. Now as I have the opportunity, I will charge via USB in my car (even if the battery isn't all the way low). My goal will be to keep my batteries as charged as possible at all times.
Also, if you get desperate you can go sit in a hospital and use their outlets. They are first priority in getting power back.

just an enormously catastrophic one. That ought to charge your mod up!!
