Praxis Clone Getting Warm

My Praxis clone button gets warm if I hit it for anything longer than a second or two, and anything past that the body seems to heat up quite a bit too. I don't know what's wrong with it, but I do know that there are scorch marks on the button and the negative end of the battery. I've already cleaned out my button using some rubbing alcohol, and tried to scrape away the scorched bits off of it, but I'm still having a heating problem. Does anyone know how I can solve this? My friend built my RDA for me the first few times and things seemed to go without a hitch, but having built myself recently (0.22 ohms) I seem to be encountering this issue pretty damn often.

This is the mod I'm using:

I have never used a Praxis, so I'm not familiar with the switch on them. But if there is heat then there is a short or bad contact somewhere. I would check and make sure your switch is clearing the delrin enough to make a good contact. With a hybrid conection you also need to make sure that the center positive pin on your atty is sticking our below the hybrid adapter. If both the adapter and the pin are touching the top of the battery then it is a direct short when you push the button. I have seen a couple of people clear coat or paint the bottom of the hybrid adapter to make sure it is not making contact. Hope this helps fix your issues.

What battery are you sporting in it?
Take and clean the mod... make sure connections are snug.
