I bought an M17 off of eBay and after a weeks use, the base plate was loose.
I figured it would be an easy fix, so I removed the internals and obviously there is a nut on the inside that need to be tightened. I went ahead and added a drop of blue Loctite (no idea why Axis doesn't do this), and once I got it tight enough to fix the problem, I started to reassemble.
The 510 pin that is soldered to the positive wire came out from the bottom of the base plate. It has plastic threads and simply screws in to the bottom of the base plate.
Axis must have elves working for them because I have no clue how they in there and tighten that 510.
Anyone ever have this problem?
