If you're like me, and you like a variety of good, single-malt Scotch Whiskies, be advised: Laphroaig and vaping do not go well together. I suspect none of the Islay Scotches and vaping go well together. The peaty/smoky flavours of these Whiskies pretty much buries anything that follows that isn't equally as assertive.

Maybe if you're vaping jalapeño juice...

That is all.

I would say that the same goes for those hoppy taste bud death beers.

I'm not a huge fan of the super peaty Scotches.

I generally go with Highland or Speyside, myself. But, every once-in-a-while, I get a hankerin' for a nice peaty/smoky Laphroaig :)

I'm a fan of highly-hopped IPAs, too. And, yeah: Those are also death to subtle vaping flavours.

When I want peat, which is a rare occasion, I really like Ardbeg.

I've had Laphroaig a couple times, but don't really remember the taste. It must've not been that bad.

The first time I had Laphroaig I had it side-by-side with a dram of Oban. One of them I really didn't like, and I believe it was the Oban. That is as long as Laphroaig wasn't the one that left a funky used motor oil taste and film in my mouth..

Correct me if I'm wrong.
