It's essentially the same as my Kraken except for the engravings. It's really solid and heavy... even without a battery it still is heavy.
Here's my pic again... the Money Shot RDA's outer diameter measures 30mm; the mod is 29mm and tapers to 28.5mm on top so if you want it to sit flush, then you'll need to grab the Carnage deck and the Enforcer Slam Cap (which is anodized aluminum so it doesn't match the matte black cerakoted finish of my mod... lol), and I'm sure that cap would look pretty sick on top of the new "titanium blue" cerakoted B2B V4 (see: http://www.evcigarettes.com/back-to-basics-v4-21700-20700-mech-mod-by-purge-mods-titanium-blue ).

Whilst googling around I bumped into an online store that has the brass version in stock and gives not only free shipping, but also a 10% off promo code. I don't have any personal experience with this store, though... anyway here's the link to the page that I thought you might be interested in, but whatever you decide, don't buy a clone... clones are strictly for those who are so strapped for cash that they would be forced to smoke cigarettes unless they get a clone so don't do it, the clones are fake shit from China and they're so not worth it despite some terribly retarded guys on the internet try to convince you otherwise. lolThanks my friend. I'm going to pull the trigger on the B2B v4 as soon as I can get taxes done.
Nah... the older magnets are a bit darker by comparison, but their size is still exactly the same as the newer ones, and, the button throw is identical also. With the silver spring upgrade if the firing pin is ever so slightly tilted, then basically it corrects itself spontaneously the moment when it touches the battery, as the spring slightly bends to make that happen. Whereas magnetic fields don't bend so if there's tilt, the tilt remains until you press the button with your finger in a different spot. All the new 21700s are like the V4 - the Kraken, the Viper, etc. The magnets are different on these than the V3 or the 21700 Enforcers. They have more room. So be careful removing them that they do not flip and crack. I have the distressed Viper. The throw is great and I've no inyention of replcing the magnets for a spring (I have on my earlier Purges). Of course you still want a silver contact but with 30ts they hit hard even with the copper.
I'll say this again ... I have four different top caps for Carnages. The Viper top cap is the best so far but I still prefer Goons or even OG Apocs. That said the distressed top cap matches the mod and looks sooo good I have to use it.
I have the silver spring upgrade in my viper. I like the throw better than magnets plus metal things like keys dont stick to the button any more lolThe magnets in my Viper are seemed not as thick as my OG Purges. Now I took it apart it just has a lot more space inside the housing which is why they can flip. The button feels different on the Viper. Much better throw.
Heavy. The weak one is too soft (it works well with comp lyfe) but the heavy one sucks on a comp lyfe mod but works well with the beefy purge button and housing. To those of you that have changed to the spring switch in your Purges, did you go with the medium or heavy spring? I'm looking at Vaping Veteran's site for a spring to use on my Purge B2B V2 and am curious how much difference there is. The Purge magnetic switch with both magnets is a bit heavy for me, and I'm using it now with one magnet. How does the medium and heavy spring compare to the Purge with 2 magnets vs. a single?
Sorry for derailing the thread, and thanks in advance,

Thanks for the replies.I have over 450 tube mods, enough batteries to power 4 Tesla sedans. I have taken my vape hobby to the moon in back.
What I post here is my opinion take it with a grain of salt.

450? I'd say you have more than a few grains of salt there.... I appreciate the knowledge I'm getting on VU.
I'm new at this...3 months ago today I smoked my last cig and started on a Juul. I've gone down the slippery slope relatively fast. But not to that point...I should get my 5th tube mod in today's vape mail. Still learning a lot. But slowly and cautiously in terms of mechs. My ham radio hobby has given me a working knowledge of amperage, circuits and Ohm's Law, but still cautiously.
The two Kennedy Vindicator 21700s I have are perfect for me in terms of switch pressure and force required to fire. I just got the Purge and I'd like somewhere in between the single and double magnets, but you're right it's a lot beefier than the Kennedys.
I'll try both medium and heavy and see how they compare. Thanks for the opinions.

I went for the heavy springs. Using both magnets the button throw feels only just a little bit heavier when compared to using the heavy spring. To those of you that have changed to the spring switch in your Purges, did you go with the medium or heavy spring? Good to hear; I didn't want to go any heavier, but the single magnet was too soft. Sounds like it might be just right.I went for the heavy springs. Using both magnets the button throw feels only just a little bit heavier when compared to using the heavy spring.
Got a couple heavy silver springs today from Vaping Veteran and put one in the B2B V2. If anything the effort to fire the mod is to me a bit heavier than the magnets. I may see if I can exchange them for the medium. I'm getting a little arthritic and it's not comfortable with the heavy switch.I went for the heavy springs. The ones from Vaping Veteran's are from a different brand, called "Vape Mechanicz", and are handwrapped in the state of Texas by a guy named Eric Simpson so they're not precisely the same as the springs that officially are from Purge Mods.Got a couple heavy silver springs today from Vaping Veteran and put one in the B2B V2. That's obviously going to be a big variable. I mentioned that I was looking at Eric's springs (I have seen several people comment positively on them) and didn't realize you were talking about Purge's springs. Apples and oranges. The ones from Vaping Veteran's are from a different brand, called "Vape Mechanicz", and are handwrapped in the state of Texas by a guy named Eric Simpson so they're not precisely the same as the springs that officially are from Purge Mods.
Well I wasn't expecting him to make springs even heavier than the three magnets because a common rule in using a mech is still to press the button in a decisive manner to help minimize arcing so to be able to press it in this manner it means having to apply even more vigorous pressure on it that people will actually run the risk of denting the battery as a result. It just doesn't make any real sense also because people would need to be trained in martial arts to hit it properly. So I have no idea why anyone would comment positively on that... maybe that's why these springs are now only $11.99 versus $19.99 for the ones from Purge. That's obviously going to be a big variable. The Purge is just a heavier throw than my other tube mechs. And heavier all together. I'll see if the medium is my sweet spot.
Thanks,
marter
Eric makes all kinds of silver accessories - springs, purge cups, 510 pins, battery contacts ... love his shit. The ones from Vaping Veteran's are from a different brand, called "Vape Mechanicz", and are handwrapped in the state of Texas by a guy named Eric Simpson so they're not precisely the same as the springs that officially are from Purge Mods.
Don't misquote me here; I said "If anything the effort to fire the mod is to me a bit heavier than the magnets" and I don't want to mislead anyone or rag on Eric's work. As I said, I'm beginning to get a little arthritis in my fingers and the Kennedy Vindicator button throw is perfect for me. The Purge is harder to the point of being uncomfortable for me. I wasn't trying to misquote you, just trying to point out that to make springs even heavier than three magnets doesn't make any real sense so I would be thoroughly surprised if they are, and, personally, I, wouldn't want to pay anything for something that just doesn't make any real sense so if anything $11.99 would be $11.99 too much.Don't misquote me here; I said "If anything the effort to fire the mod is to me a bit heavier than the magnets" and I don't want to mislead anyone or rag on Eric's work. As far as his work, and people commenting on it, I've seen positive comments in general, not specifically on how much harder his spring is than the Purge. His work is beautiful, and I assume his price reflects a reasonable profit, not the exorbitant prices Purge charges. That price comparison is probably a statement in itself. Just my opinion.
Thanks,

In that case getting the medium one from Purge will be your best option. (That is, unless maybe you can wrap your own springs or unless maybe you know someone who can.) It is far less heavy, yet still heavy enough that the button throw feels perfectly solid, and, I've actually tried one, in an authentic The Truck 20700 brass from someone I know.Thought I'd post a follow up here in case anyone's curious about Eric Simpson's silver springs I bought from Vaping Veteran. I tried to take some measurements with a digital scale I use for fishing (yeah, I know, but it was the only option I have) which showed after averaging multiple tests that the "heavy" spring from Eric is heavier than the double magnet in the Purge. Jason Hunter (Vaping Veteran owner) confirmed this, saying that the "heavy spring is harder than the magnets and the medium is the same as the magnets".
Thanks. Thought about wrapping my own but not worth the investment to me. I'll go with the Purge medium. Thanks for the advice. In that case getting the medium one from Purge will be your best option. Id really like to see 450 tube mods lol. Idk if there's even 450 different tubes in existence. Got a pic? Im genuinely wanting to see this madness.Btw you can roll your own copper springs too but they eventually crack unlike silver.
