They need a good whack to come out but nothing bad at all.
not the battery. the magnets.

Sucks but i guess for the performance it's worth the risk lolone day you "may" take your door off and a magnet will be stuck to it. i bought mine used and it took a little while before they started coming out.

Damn!nah, its no big deal. just watch for it.
btw, take a straight edge and put it on the back and see how flat it is.
Damn!
I'm impressed.. albeit my square is in basement (homie cant do stairs) but the level showed it as perfectly flat.and ?

Hahaha I should try that! Itll probably be more successful than getting the kids to do it.fly your phantom down there to get it , lol.
my ultem is not flat, the middle is concave a little. not really noticeable by eye. but put a straight edge on it, wow.

Hmm that's interesting, tried the flat side of a knife and didn't notice anything either. Have to get the wife to grab the square this evening and see.
Ir really is, I asked one to grab a flathead screwdriver and he had no idea what I was talking about. If I told him to grab the square It would involve a 3o minute explanation and drawing of what it is.lol, thats funny and sad at the same time.
yours and mine are different materials, and/or, they figured out that it was happening and fixed it. who knows.
Well I'll be damned

Does the ultem "feel" really squared off in the hand? Going from a rounded off mod to this, it feels very linear. If any of that makes sense.

It may be so there's flex with the different battery sizes. Put a 21700 in there and see if it's still like thatDamnitman... wonder if it's on purpose.
Glad it performs the way it does. If it didnt I would be pretty pissed right now

I never did a before and after voltage drop test, but it made mine seem to hit harder. Not like a night and day difference, but it hits better after the modification.Sorry to revive an old thread, but noone mentioned if rounding the contact actually made a noticable improvement in how hard it hits? I just picked one of these up and now I'm wanting to do it lol. It hits great as is though. Mod is a little big in hand (I've got the metal one), almost want to get a Redeemer now.
Thanks I think I'm going to do it. A socket, and electrical wire cutters (big round hole in the pliers) i think should do nicelyI never did a before and after voltage drop test, but it made mine seem to hit harder. Not like a night and day difference, but it hits better after the modification.
