Question about mod reads at room temperature

I just got an eleaf istick power 80 watt mod. I got eleaf titanium 0.5 ohm coils. At room temperature, the mod says it is 0.53 ohms. Is this normal, or do I need to put 350 in manually?

The .53 is your coils resistance. It needs to be room temperature before you set your tc up. Once the mod reads the coil then you put mod in tc mode and adjust your settings.

It is room temperature, brand new titanium 0.5 ohm coil. However, at room temperature, it reads 0.53. Is it normal to be so far off from 0.5 ohms exactly? I was expecting it to read 0.5, then I would lock it in. But the 0.53 has me wondering if I should do it manually instead.

.03 is not off enough for concern. There will be variations in Ω often. You lock what the actual coil Ω is. I don't lock my Ω in tc, but that is with DNA chip. Don't know if you need to lock or not.

What was the ohm of the coil Before installing on mod... not the Advertised ohm but actual measured ohm....

Factory coils can vary from spec ohm by as much as 10%. And TC wire can SS in particular van fluctuate from ambient temp changes.
