Question about nic suppliers

I picked up some flavors from what I gathered on the forum was the best source: http://www.bullcityvapor.com/

I then picked up a 250 ml bottle of 60 VG 40 PG 3mg nic from http://www.v-ecigs.com/3mg-nicotine-solution-250ml/ I also ordered the 15 ml 70/30 3mg sample from http://www.nudenicotine.com/ I ordered the premixed versions as I wanted to just try it out but will order my nic, VG and PG separately next time and mix it all myself.

I wanted to stay around $30 to give DIY a shot and so far I really like it and plan on ordering more on Labor Day weekend as I figured there would be some good sales.

I have read through the forum and http://www.vaperstek.org/premium-nicotine/ seems to be the choice for most but I was hoping someone who has tried the majority of nic suppliers would chime in.

I have also seen and heard of this nic supplier http://www.nicotineriver.com/ and they are close enough to me that I could drive over and pick up my nic base and separate bottles of VG and PG. I live in S Cali so even nude nicotine is fairly close.

Is there also a supplier that offers the best VG and PG or all they pretty much the same?

The main reason I am going DIY aside from the savings is I want to stay away from products that contain Diacetyl, Acetyl Propionyl and/or Acetoin. Bull City Vapors is excellent at telling you which flavors have them so there my flavor vendor of choice, I wish they still carried nic as well as I would buy all my stuff from them.

I mostly vape higher end juices so I want to make sure that what I DIY is with the best products available even if it costs me a little more. I don't want the nic to get in the way of the flavor so I am hoping someone can steer me in the right direction.

Thanks in advance

Nicotine river is also nic select. I have a bottle from them and it is pretty clean. Not the cleanest though. It has a slight ashy taste to it when vaped plain.

I am participating in a blind taste test of 4 others that is almost wrapped up. Then I will know what is the best according to my taste buds.

Awesome sketch, thanks for chiming in.

Will the comparisons be in a thread here?

I like VT and Nude, personally, having visited the Nude lab. I've tried other nic, supplier didn't tell me what it was, but it was horrid in comparison. BCV is also my flavor source of choice, though I've also had good luck with ECX.

Turns out the premix 60/40 3 mg I got from http://www.v-ecigs.com/3mg-nicotine-solution-250ml/ is also from nic select, can't really notice a difference between that and the free sample I got from nude nicotine.

I went ahead and subscribed to the other Nicotine comparison thread, thanks for that sketch.

OB, ECX looks to have a nice selection and prices as well, thanks for the recommendation.

Where do you all source your VG and PG from?

With those kind of discounts I am going to have to clear another kitchen cabinet to hold the massive inventory of flavors I will add, maybe the pantry ;)
