Question about percentages

I have been mixing my own juice for a while and yes ha have experienced some differences in my juice from mix to mix , I have been mixing with drops instead of weight or ml so my mixes are not exact each time , I see everyone here quoting percentages on flavor so what is the best way to figure my percentages for example one of daily vapes is a mix I call pink taco with the following ingredients

26ml vg
4ml pg
12 drops fa sweet cream
15 drops fa black cherry
4 drops fa wild cherry
4 drops of super sweet , not sure of company , got it from a local B&m

How can I go about figuring this into % or ml or even better by weight as I will be purchasing a scale very soon .

Any help would be very helpful so I can get my juices perfect everytime !

Kinda depends on the size of the dropper top on your bottles. For the average size dropper tops.

1 drop = 1% (3ml size mix bottle)
1 drop = 0.5% (6ml size mix bottle)
1 drop = 0.25% (12ml size mix bottle)

If your dropper top on the flavor bottle is the skinny needle looking type, it's a tad less per drop.

Hope that helps you some.

Thanks man , gives me something to start with gonna try to weigh out my next batch and see what it looks and tastes like then go from there , some of my flavors are in plastic dropper bottles but most of my fa flavors are in 10ml glass topped bottles so I use a glass dropper I picked up from the drug store here , I guess I can weigh drops fr ally differant bottles to see how they all compare . Thanks for the help !

Oh, if you're mixing with a scale, yep! Tare between each flavor and you'll have exactly what you like each time.

If you have a syringe (or any 1 ml container), you can count the drops until you get 1ml. If I know the amount of drops per ml, I can figure out the percentages for you.

Cheers,
Steve

I was doing drops and using 40 per ml for FA. That makes four drops for 1% in 10 mls. I got a scale and started using that. It was pretty close. Close enough that the mixes didn't taste much different. Forty drops slso made percents easy, 25%, 50%, 75%, 1%. The dropper needs to be held straight up for this to work. For the smaller droppers, like tfa, it is about six drops for 1%.

Now this is what I came up with. I still use this for new test recipes. It gives me a rough idea if they will work and I go from there. The scale is used for fine tuning once I get rough percentages down. I use the scale once the recipe is finalized.

Sorry to be so wordy.
