Hi!
I just stared in the DIY world. I've been doing some simple recipes that didn't really required steeping. Im at my first "complex" recipe. The author of the recipe says it needs 10 days of steeping.
The way I understant steeping is air + shaking. So here's how I do it.
1. I've acces to a paint shaker ( working in an hardware store ) So I put my bottle in it for like 5 minutes.
2. Let in some fresh air and letting old air out.
3. Let the bottle stand in a dark cool spot.
repeat the next day.
Is that a good way of steeping ?
and Im not looking for fast method Im not in a hurry
Also... If I see a recipe that says to mix 30/70 and I mix it at 20/80 will it keep the same taste?
Thanks!
