Questions on fw grape.

First of all hello to everyone. I think this is my first post here. I have been diy mixing for the last yr and 1/2(pretty much 2 weeks after buying my first b$m juice). One of the problems I have run into is my fw grape doesn't taste the same. It use to taste great with fizz almost like a grape soda but it isn't fw's grape soda just regular fw grape. I've checked my spent bottles...first 10ml bottle fw grape rest were 30ml's all fw grape. It's been about close to a yr that i haven't been able to match the flavor since. I have tried everything.....diff vg/pg nicotine everything from 50/50 and both ways and from 7%-30% still doesn't taste right. It's defiantly grape but not the same. Anybody know maybe if fw changed their formula. Not sure before if fw had only grape which was actually soda and then split into two flavors now grape and grape soda? Has anybody had exp with both lately to tell me the difference?

Also forgot....have used multiple diff mods....eleaf 30's,100,pico 75,ijoy 50 tc,smy god 180,vct hammer of god, tanks from small flavor tanks to nautilus,atlantis,goblin,geekvape griffin,vct 30, single drippers to dual vct 30mm dripper. flavor still stays roughly the same.

FW Grape tastes like Grape Soda to me, but without the "fizz", (which was over a year ago btw).
Just one of those flavors I don't care to vape, or drink, lol.
But I've never really been able to get any of that fizz effect with other flavors either.
Like FA Cola or FA Champagne.
Some claim to get that effect and some don't.
Personally I just think it's a mind trick with certain artificial flavors that we associate with sodas, etc.

Never tried FW Grape Soda tho, may be worth a try.

@Inawera did the same shit with their Cactus flavor. Used to be my hands down favorite, now it sucks. I even bought a bottle directly from them in Poland, and when I emailed to inquire about the change they denied it. Oh well. Lots of cactus flavoring hit the trash can. (~300ml after trying all the vendors)

Thanks for the reply's, It was more like a sparkling grape than a soda I guess to be more accurate. The flavor use to jump right out at you and linger around in your mouth but now just a muddled grape. Tfa grape juice is my next favorite. Since then I've tried pretty much all grapes except vz's and hagsens. Nothing so far was like that flavor. I thought maybe it was me but gf says the same thing and one of my friends said it was one of the best grapes he's tried so it must of changed then. I haven't had much luck with champagne/wine or cola either heabob. One flavor I'm going to get soon to try with grape is ooo's rock fizz. One thing about diy is you buy way to many flavors and keep wanting more. Was looking through ooo flavors last night and they have 400 but no way is gf willing to let me buy all those...already have over 250+ from various flavor company's on my shelves. She keeps telling me....Why do you need more? you already have a whole bunch to use. I'm always looking for good flavors and it's hard to explain to her how some flavors are to justify why i need to order more.

The strongest grape flavor I've vaped is Flavorah's Grape. At 2% its a cross between grape juice and artificial grape candy. When I add HiLIQ's Cooling Agent. It transforms into a tasty grape popsicle.

My 4oz bottle of FW Grape is from 12/2015 and tastes the same as it has since 2013 IFAICT
I hope they didn't change it because that and FW Banana are perfect candy flavors IFAIC

sorry for the late reply. Yes I'm sure MD. I ordered fw grape soda because I didn't have it and it is not the same at all. Taste like a cheap off brand sugary grape kool aid to me. Doing a huge flavor order soon and will include a 120ml of fw grape to see if maybe i was unlucky with smaller bottles by chance or maybe various companys stock. Lately I haven't been doing anything with grape but I did order Delosi grape and to me not bad right away but had to add some tfa grape juice to make it better. Had started at 15% in 70/30 and while it was a good flavor it seemed light so added tfa grape juice. Going to let one steep to for changes. Also In the delosi order I had a pineapple. As of right now fresh mixed at 15% it's a lighter creamier pineapple almost banana type taste. I also put in some tfa pineapple at 3.5% to boost it more and seems to come out a lot better.

Maybe it's the curse of familiarity. When a new flavor hits your taste buds for the first time, it's like "Wow, great stuff!" Then you vape on it awhile, probably too much, and become acclimated to it. Next thing you know, it's just not working for you anymore.

This happened to me recently with Captain Morgan Spiced Rum. Sister made me a drink, loved it, picked up a bottle of my own, and by the time it was empty I was wondering why the hell I loved it so much at first.

It could be but still don't understand where the fizzy type taste went to. Also friend never smoked my grape again after he tried it that day he was over and he says same thing it's not the same. He likes caramel custard type vapes normally.

ouch really , that suck to hear now im all worried haha. kaktus is one of my favs. glad I have a nice stock of it a long time ago.
