I have a parallel mech mod. Anubis from El Diablo to be specific. And I have 2 3.7v, 35A battery. I also have a 20 awg Ni80 coil. My question is, how many wraps and type of coil (Clapton, Parallel etc.) should I do to achieve the safest and lowest point of my battery? Thanks!!

My target ohm is .15, but I don't know if my battery can handle it. I want my mod to be as safe as possible and still low enough to compete

My answer to your question is. You have no business building below 1ohm if you have to ask this question.

If your batteries are REALLY 35amp batteries, then .15ohms would be OK, especially since your mod is parallel and the limit is 2x the battery amp limit. What batteries do you have, brand and source?
I've got local batteries. I have no trust in them
0ao4nct

But I tried this battery at .20 ohms and it fires and does not overheat fast

What you need to start with is:

to get an ohm meter and make sure to check the resistance of every single coil you make.

Get proper batteries made by Samsung, LG, Sony, Sanyo and nothing else, with a continuous amp rating of 20A or more.

Throw away those accident waiting to happen batteries, unless you have a flashlight that needs batteries.

Get wire with a more reasonable gauge, I suggest you start with 24g.

Assuming you get 20A batteries the cumulative rating in parallel is around 30A which means you should not go below 0.15 ohm.

How low you should build depends on what wattage you aim for.
Learn about ohm's law or at least get an ohm law calculator.

Use the following coil calculator to get you started: http://www.steam-engine.org/coil.asp

Stay safe :)

I've already learnt ohm's law. All I'm worried about is my battery.
But anyways, should I take the .15 ohm risk? I feel that 10 wraps for a dual coil is too much
Btw, what type of coil is suitable for my mod? I was thinking about getting Claptons and parallel

I wouldn't take ANY risk with that battery.

Like @nightshard said, familiarize yourself with steam-engine.org. I personally use the Wire Wizard portion of it daily. It's very helpful, and you can configure just about any wire type with it.

And go get some decent batteries. I mostly use Samsung 25Rs, but also have a few LG HB6s around specifically for lower resistance parallel mech builds. I ONLY use 2 sources for batteries - www.liionwholesale.com and www.imrbatteries.com

I just bought 2 LG HG2s. What build do you think is the best for clouds? And what is the lowest ohm point of 2 HG2s. I still don't know how the batteries of parallel mods work

Dude, I cannot stress this strongly enough - You NEED To Know How The Batteries Of Parallel Mods Work!!!
If you don't, then you will most likely damage yourself and/or your immediate surroundings considering the questions you've already asked.
Please take a look at this BATTERY SAFETY GUIDE from Vaping 360.
