Hey guys,

I just recently got into RDA's after being a tank user for quite a long time. I have to say I'm absolutely loving it so far! Vapor production is excellent and the taste is out of this world. I have a question in regards to a sizzling sound after vaping on my RDA and whether it's normal as I don't know anyone who vapes to ask the question to.

Coil: Prebuilt 0.36 OHM Tiger Coil
Mod: IPV6X
Wick: Fiber Freaks
RDA: Vaperz Cloud X1 competition RDA
Number of coils: Single coil build

After a few vapes I start to get this sizzling sound for a few seconds after I stop pressing the button to fire my mod. I'm guessing it's caused by the coil losing heat once I've stopped firing my mod but it remains hot enough to still produce vapor for a few seconds. Is this normal or is it something I've done wrong with my build? Probably a complete noob question but I'd really appreciate an answer.

Thanks!

Just like it is taking those coils a little while to heat up, it takes them a little while to cool off. Perfectly normal. What you can do is continue inhaling for a second or so after you release the button. Enjoy your RDAs, just remember to drip before it's dry. Once you get a dry hit you will know why.

Thanks for the quick reply mate! I appreciate it. I haven't got a dry hit yet as I keep a pretty good eye on the wicks and drip before they get too dry. I've had dry hits on my tanks and they are awful. It's good to hear that it wasn't a problem with my RDA or build. Very reassuring!

Thanks insepcts :). I'll ask my local vape shop if they have any stainless steel coils next time I go in.

Welcome to VU!

I started inhaling for a few seconds after I let go of the fire button and the extra air being sucked in is cooling down the coil much quicker and I'm not getting nearly as much sizzling anymore. Thanks buddy!
