Quick question I am using a IPV3 at 40watts with a Doge V2 with a .4 ohm duel coil and the other night I dripped into it made sure the Cotten was wet and when I took a hit it seemed to poop and a big gust of air blew into my mouth from the rda. Is that normal or might there be something wrong with it. I am new to RDA's and not sure to be honest scared the Shit out of me lol lol.

Big gust of air is normal with lots of airflow, lung hit. "poop" however, needs some more elaboration.

It really just made a loud pop sound got a big gust of air and a bit of a funny taste. I checked it after that and it seemed to fire fine I took about 3 more hits from it after checking it and it was fine.

It depends on how tight your wick is, and how tightly packed together the coil wraps are. I find a wick that's slightly loose inside the coil, and close wraps, tend to make the atomizer snap, crackle and pop. Personally, I like that very much. Your mileage may vary.

I really don't get much snap crackle or pop. I like small diameter coils (1.8mm and 5/64) which I find are
a little less forgiving wicking well, than a macro. They heat up and cool off fast. I wick on the tighter side
of "snug". I also don't like spit back or splattering so I run vertical coils to avoid this.

The shop that I go to set the RDA up for me it was bought on friday. I too like the Snap, Crackle and pop but this one was just to big of a pop for me lol i know he used 26 guage kanthal and organic cotten if that helps. My main concern is shouod i stay away from it till i can rebuild it again.

As long as there is no shorting anywhere you should be fine. Inspect your wire leads. Every time I wick, I make sure that my coils
are where they're supposed to be (not too close to cap or deck) and I check the leads coming out of the posts to make sure that
they are tucked tight to the post they come out of.

Is your resistance the same as it was before? If you blow out one of the coils it will make that pop and it feels like it kinda blew up in your head, but your resistance should double after that happens.

Still the same as when the coils were put in .4ohms

Water might be a cause also. I noticed last summer during high humidity that in the mornings after an rda had sat
out all night would snap crackle and pop until needing more drops. So apparently in high ambient humidity, juice
can absorb moisture from the air over time.

Perhaps you have some juice which is a little too watered down?

This sounds like 1 of 2 things. 1. Is it possible you didnt take a hit for a while allowing your coils to kind of get harder with a "gunky coil" juice and when you fired it the juice heated and popped. 2. Could be a short. If you have an Ohm's meter you need to check it. A short can be extremely bad.

Personally, I like noisy atomizers, and I like a little spit back too - keeps things interesting on my tongue :)

When running the DNA40 in temperature control mode, with a fresh wick and a clean coil, I get a loud band each time a press the go-go button because of the pre-heat feature. It's loud enough that I always warn people if I let them try my mod, because at least on one occasion, the person was so surprised she nearly dropped it on the floor.

I run single 12-wrap, 2.5 mm I.D., 28-ga nickel coils at 25W and 480F with a cellucotton wick. I find cellucotton makes the atty even noisier than carded cotton.
