RDA Screws how to address RUST in pillers

Obviously inhaling any small amount of rust can be extremely harmful, I have purchased a few RDA clones that are awesome quality and most are 1:1 clones. However, since I haven't used all the RDA's I've purchased I've noticed that when I boiled the RDAs a month back that the screws have rust....

So it seems a lot of RDA Clones are SS but the screws are not which of course will cause rust especially like me if you just left them to dry.

So, how can I get rid of the rust and where can I purchase SS RDA screws....

here is a couple links to a few places that sells thumb screws and a couple sizes of silica and ss screws for rba's and rda's

as for removing rust from the rda, a good cleaning should help, get a toothbrush, soap and water. If your RDA has actually started rusting, it might be time for a new one. There are rust removers, but you would need to be positive on the material your RDA has been made with and find a suitable cleaner per each case.

Inside the posts, I soak in Vodka then scrub with a 1) small toothbrush, 2) old-fashioned cotton pipe cleaner (the kind actually made for pipes- not the crafty chenille stems) 3) one of the small dental brushes that are made for partials or scrubbing between teeth - they are super tiny. Once the rust is removed, replace your non SS screws with stainless ones.
