RDA vs Tanks

So much misinformation here. I used to build a lot of coils. Guess what? I can buy any clapton, twisteed, fused, yiger, stapled coil really cheap now and so I don't bother. I can buy ten coils for ten dollars and they last ogver a year. All I do is keep them clean and rewick them. I'm lazy. Sue me.

And yes, i use sub tanks too because they are convenient but the game now is RTAs. They have improved so much I don't use a sub tank as much anymore. And yes, there are some kick ass sub ohm tanks out there. I have four RTAs, five sub ohm yanks and seven RDAs.

Nothing wrong with being lazy. Since when was that a crime for vapers. We like the convencience. So at the moment I've been vaping on my haze and my twisted messes this evening. I'm at home. I inserted a new coil in my haze and rewicked my messes with new cotton. I used a pre made ude coil - they come in packs of ten and are quite good. My B=M has pre made twisted claptons and other coils that are better than I can build for a 1.50 each. A pair last me over five months.

Just enjoy your vape anyway that is comfortable for you. It happens I have developed some vision problems so I appreciate the pre built coils now.

Point me in the direction of quality pre made coils. Thanks in advance.

Still no option for the nice coils like staggerd stapled helix coils or framed Claptons personally that's what I belive gives the best flavor Claptons are nice but over rated a nice framed staple coil or something ramps up faster wicks better looks better and tastes better in my opinion of course

Plus it takes 3 minutes to make a fused Clapton and costs just about nothing, maybe 20 cents for the wire.

RDA vs Tank. For me, tanks hand down (and it's not even close). I have both rdas and tanks. Tanks I vape all day, and rdas I just mess around with. So much debate has always been around on which is better. Better is in the eyes and taste buds of the vaper. RDA diehards say tanks can never have better flavor than a rda. For me it's the opposite. The vapor taste for me in an rda will never be as good as in a tank. Any flavor juice for me tastes quite a bit different in a tank vs an rda. There are some juices that I don't like in an rda that I like in a tank and sometimes the other way around. I use rda just for the fun of having different stuff but I can't even use an rda for juice testing that much cause of the differences. Only way I really know if I like a juice or not is to vape it in a tank for a day. I'm not one of those guys that can drip some juice in an rda, drip it a couple of times and go, yeah this is going to be my juice. Maybe it's because my taste buds are just wonko, but juice just tastes better vaping it from a tank. The old saying more is not better comes to mind. For me it's like this. RDA's might have "more" flavor but tanks have "better" flavor. I've been vaping over 2 years now (actually is probably closer to 3) and it has been that way for me from day 1.

I agree also newer tanks to me have a much better flavor closer to the taste of the juice. The older tanks with the older smaller coils could suffer pending on the setup, build or brand. Taste is always subject to the individual but this is the way I see it with all the new inprovements that have been made over the years.

Thoughts?

I don't find much difference in taste, the only things I've ever found affect that the ratio of air::vape (which is adjustable on drippers or tanks)

I was in love with my doge for a long time, I found that tanks just couldn't compete - not because of a 'flavor deficiency' but because, a year and a half ago, I couldn't find a tank that could deliver the vapor I needed that wasn't also prone to leaking (ie the orchid v4), so I thought the only way to get a proper vape was via dripper. Used my doge for like a year and a half, loved it - then I tried the uwell crown v1, with a fresh cartridge in it, and was blown away that it provided sufficient vapor!

It's been about a week since I made the switch from dripping to tank, and I'm absolutely in love with it - no mess in my pockets + consistent vapor every puff make it a no-brainer for me, I'm currently trying to build up some other tanks that I have but have issue for some reason or another (smok tfv8, tobeco super tank mini) so that I can have back-ups, because "two is one and one is none" lol, and the other day I had an atomizer issue with my tank (easily fixed and fine since) and I was *upset that I'd have to use my Doge again until I could get my tank back in order*!!

I wouldn't want a tank that I couldn't build and wick myself, but I'm all about tanks now that I've seen what the little uwell crown can do (haven't tried the smok tfv8 yet but the size of the cartridge makes me think I'll be able to build anything in that that I could in my doge!)
