I have yet to "outvape" my Orchids. I'm currently in a VW mode, but I do have a number of mechs, with a Slug on the way.

Nice!!! ya i'm done for now on mech mods to many have been disappointing in design or function its not even the clone quality control or lack there of. i do however want the slug as well ! and a kato hammer. but really leaning towards a box mod dna 30 type. like a vaporshark just don't like that the display is on the bottom.

I adore my IPV2, just wish it could push 100w. I like the Kato, but not a fan of how it restricts you on atty height. It is great for taller bits, but one of my favourites is the SAT22 and it is way too short.

Hope to hear improvement tomorrow ;)

If you get it figured out, stick with the mechs and later want to get one that you will be happy with, fasttech just put the bcv surfrider (or XXIX for copper) on their site. That mod hands down has the best button I've ever felt and everything is about perfect. Imo as good as it gets... for now... and its $20.

Well a weakness on the ipv2 is the side door, Imo the plate goes all they way to the top so if ur atty leaks it could leak right inside. Just my opinion. I don't own one so really can't say.

After overzealously dripping a few times, I've yet to see but MINOR juice infiltration underneath the cover. As to the other common issue regarding the screws.....it takes very little pressure on the screwdriver to secure those....I think some people think they are putting a wheel on a car.

Very true so many people have a need to over tighten everything . I'm sure your right that it never happens. But being an high pressure engineer, hydraulic engineer it's a habit of only seeing potential flaws at glance .

well i ordered an Eleaf ohm / volt meter . i'm gonna try and wait for that to rebuild my Omega and APO. both are single or dual coil build. what ohm should i shoot for on each coil ? 0.8 or 0.6 > i only have 28 gauge currently and Japanese cotton so thats what i'll use for materials

Go with what you know, then build down from there until you find your sweet spot.

Hello all. I am new to building and have a few questions. I picked up some Royal wire tonight 24 gauge and wanted to build a sleeper dual build on my billow. Unfortunately I bit off a little more then I could chew and ended up with about 11 useless coils, but got some good practice in. I ended up with a single coil build at .3 ohms and it fires nicely. My first question is this. How do I count wraps? I know it's stupid but do I count the lead wrap or does a 8 wrap typically look like 9?? Do I count the wraps from the side that the leads are opposite to? I think I have a single 10 wrap on my billow right now and I am firing it on my smaug 150 @ 50 watts.
My second question pertains to ohms. Does the number of wraps increase or decrease the ohms? I tried looking at steam engine but since im not using Kanthol and I am using this Royal stuff I have no idea how to use steam engine. I also don't know what 5/64 translates to in regard to inside diameter of the coil.... Any help with this technical stuff will really help me comprehend my next build as I only have a little bit of the Royal wire left do to my compulsive nature and stubbornness. Thanks
