Really thinking about a Stingray clone.....

Hey! Ive seen a sting ray clone that I really want. Had a go and seems to be no issue with it what so ever.

I just wondered if anyone could shed alittle light on the pros and cons for if I do for this Mech?

Is it a regular 510 version or hybrid. What metals?

I have not heard anything bad about that mod.

Only con I can think of is it a mech. And that's not really a con. Mechs are more difficult to get the vape you want from. But once you hit on a build there's not much better..

Copper contacts and stainless outer. Yeah its an 18650 standard Mech Mod.

If I was in the market for a tube mech I would get a Stingray. Personally, I would rather have copper or brass body and stainless contacts. Mainly because I would patina the body and stainless contacts are easier to maintain. The copper contacts are better electrically speaking.

The contacts are copper coated silver or stainless. Whichever it is.

I had a stingray x clone back in the day when I did mecs. Really nice looking mod and worked good. It was made by hcigar and had the hybrid adapter. As far as mechs go it was my favorite one I had out of the chi yu, maraxus, and panzer blackhawk.

Non recessed buttons with locking rings suck. Only con in my opinion. I refuse to have to screw with something before setting my mod down. My buddy has a stingrayX and I love everything about it except the stupid button.

one of the reasons i got out of mechs. it became annoying and if you had trouble locking it it was pretty much useless

Mechs are awesome. Just gotta get the right one. I've used an $18 fasttech smpl for well over a year. Use it daily and absolutely love it.

to each their own. I got sick of them. Prefer regulated mods now

I'd get sick of an overly complicated, corrosion prone, stupid button tube as well. That's why I use a ss smpl.
