I need some help with a comparable recipe for roar vapor's honey glazed melons. I think that I have the melon part down and to my liking but my problem is the honey. I get a strong honey smell and taste. I have only tried tfa honey and tfa honey clover and I can't get them to taste right. The honey clover to me smells spot on but I can't get the taste right.Their mix is completely clear even after months of steeping @ 0mg nic but another bottle I have @12mg nic has turned a orangish red which is most likely due to the nic. I don't always get a clear tinted liquid with all of the variations I have mixed. I have tried a lot of sweeteners/flavorings to try to get the honey to pop but haven't got close.
The smell of the juice is a sweet/honey/masked cantaloupe and the vape is the same with a light hint of honeydew on the back end but the honey is the dominate flavor.
I would appreciate any help with this.

Have you tried FlavourArt honey? Spot on honey flavor. Very strong. Most people find it needs to be diluted, even. Your can get sample sizes for under $2 from Purevapes.com or eliquidmart.com
I have not. Only the two I listed. I have been reading about some controversy with some honey flavors and didn't want to waste time and money on junk if I didn't have to. That is why I brought my request here. I will get this ordered and see how it goes and report back. Thanks for the help.
I hope it works out for you. I'd hate for it to suck after reading that, lol. Like I said, stick to a sample size. Not a huge loss if it doesn't work out to your liking.
TFA honey flavor tastes and smells like wet skunk to me. Those who find a way to make it work usually use very tiny amounts; all honey flavors seem very strong.
I'll second Huck's recommendation for FA Honey. But I'd recommend making a tiny bottle of 10% FA Honey, then using THAT bottle as your flavoring and starting at 0.5% (thus giving you 0.05%). It's much easier to control that way. FA's is not a dark honey flavor nor light clover. It's right in the middle, and it works great for me on the rare occasion I vape anything with honey.

Someone else posted the link . I tried with both 5% and 1% citric Acid , I liked the 1% for my taste.

I suggest finding a mothers milk clone. Uses caps vanilla custard (holy Grail of custards) and strawberry/dragonfruit so it is probably right up your alley

You could try TFA Blueberry Candy, mixed with TFA Sweet Raspberry, maybe around 5% each, and then sweeten it with TFA cotton candy as needed.
I don't know this specific flavor your wanting to recreate, but this may be a close start based upon your description... Hope this helps

I love those. I don't have a recipe, but was shooting for a flavor memory. I have mostly FA fruits, but might try Bilberry at 1%, Raspberry (strong flavor) at 0.25 - 0.5% and Mad Fruit (formerly know as Red Bull flavor) @.... hmm. I haven't yet used that one much, but maybe 1-2%? I'll have to try that soon and see.

Kings Crown "the King" , I have tried to do it my self but I just cant get the flavor strong enough, Tasted similar but week, I tried to add more flavor and less but that changed the profile to much, its very nutty, almost to much but not quite.
Any thing nutty I try seems weak even when using AP, Peanut Butter doesn't even taste like Peanut Butter just nutty , using Cap and TFA Peanut Butter together is the closest I've come but still not right.
I have a peanut butter cup recipe that I found and I cant taste either Peanut Butter or the Chocolate.

An equal amount of FA Lemon Sicily and FA Strawberry suits me fine! I use about 2% each; most would prefer about 3% each. It really doesn't need anything else.

I have a 'flavors I have' request. It will be used in a plume veil and dark horse rda with a 'stacked' 18650 mechanical box mod. Lots of power, lots of airflow. I use the max vg that i can use with the flavors counting as pg. My nic is vapers tek 48mg w/ pg base. I mix from 4-5.5% nic.

Use that cap custard at around 12-15 percent and then a complimentary flavor at a low percent, .5 to 2. Cap custard 15% TFA dulce de leche 2% is my adv

Hey there, new to the forum and diy ejuice. I've gotten into a custard kick lately. I'm looking for a clone recipe of cotto's revenge bourbon custard or just a bourbon custard and a vanilla custard with depth. Maybe something with a nice added spice but not so overpowering that it becomes a one hit wonder. If someone could point me in those directions it would be greatly appreciated.
The bourbon custard description is: a classic Kentucky bourbon with sweet, creamy vanilla custard, some toasted almonds, and just a hint of coconut with a oak barrel aged note.
I found this vanilla custard recipe and thinking of using it as my base. Not sure about the butter part though. Thanks again.
