What is a good starter kit that provides the rechargeable batteries? Probably want one that allows for new batteries so I can use it for quite awhile and not have to worry about it being useless when the battery poops out. I like the pen style for the concealment factor so is there a recommended pen that has this? If not, what do you all recommend that wouldn't break the bank?

Thanks!

It's easy to use and suitable for beginner all in one tube mod.
I wouldn't be bothered with it breaking or the battery dying, since it's so cheap, you just throw it away and get a new one and it's very likely that you would want to upgrade long before that happens.

Just concerned that I wouldn't be able to get another with the regulations.

Trustfire products are unacceptable, Panasonic batteries are unacceptable and new vapers usually mouth to lung and sub ohm tanks aren't for that kind of vaping. Don't buy the kit you linked.

I can't help you with a tube mod setup, but there are many excellent beginner kits that are small and pocket friendly with replaceable batteries. The Pico kit is supposed to be tiny, and people are loving it, and then there's something like the Kanger Topbox kit. You can browse some starter kits here to see if there's anything that you might like: https://101vape.com/93-starter-kits.

And welcome to the VU!

The Eleaf pico deal for 37 sounds good, right?

Just pulled the trigger on the vape mod deal someone else posted.

I got the Samsung battery and it looks like it doesn't need a charger as a micro usb can update firmware and charge it. I got A +5 pack of .5 ohm ec head as well. Let me know what you think and where i should go to pick up some juice at a good price.

Appreciate it!

You forgot to say that the price is outrageous.

If you do decide to buy a mod with a replaceable 18650 battery, make sure it's an authentic LG/Samsung/Sony high drain IMR/INR and none of that Panasonic/Efest/Trustfire crap.

Yes but which Samsung battery is that? There are many models and not all are compatible.

It had where you can add a battery to the order. It was a Samsung 25R

Where do you get juice? Is the 5 pack head a good choice?

Thanks a million!

If your budget allows, consider another battery and a separate charger. That way you will always be vape ready..

Yea, I'll do that on down the line. What charger do you all recommend that won't overcharge? Thank again!

I've been happy with my Xtar VP4 charger. It's only gone bonkers once, and I suspect it was an issue with the electricity at the time (either low power or a surge; I had to unplug it to fix it). Opus chargers are really good.

Oh I should add that when my Xtar went bonkers, it was obvious that it did. The charge lights starting quickly flipping back and forth between red and green and the batteries started to become overcharged. If it had been left charging unattended (e.g. would have happened in the middle of the night or while away from house) it could have developed into a huge problem. A good reminder that one should never leave batteries charging unattended, nor should you leave your batteries on the charger once they're charged. Worth repeating that my Xtar has never again since acted up, and it's been about a year since that incident (and I often leave batteries in it for extended periods of time after they're charged, even though you shouldn't). I truly suspect it was a power surge that caused it.

Isn't there charges that turn off when the batteries are charged? Like an iPhone/Samsung phone?
