Good Morning fellow vapors

I currently have a IPV3 LI running a triton tank and a mad hatter RDA when I choose to drip. That I run in power mode 99% of the time.

I am looking to get a decent backup mod to use when batteries are charging without breaking the bank.

What would you guys recommend

Thanks in advance

While I firmly believe in having backups for my backups and not trying to be a smartass. Why not buy a spare set of batteries for the 3Li as well. That being said, the IPV D2 and Sig 75 are both very popular. Iirc, I've seen them both on sale at Vapor Joe's for around $40.

^^^what that guy said
You my friend are becoming a hobbyist, welcome to the club. Both the d2 and sig 75 are great for available power, but running them maxed out that one battery wont last very long. just a heads up. that said, I still love my dna40s for their size and the d2 is said to be about the same size.
101vape.com has the d2 for 50$ and the original sig150 without tc for 75$. wither way a backup mod is definitely a good idea as is a backup set of batteries.

In my humble opinion, the best and first backup mod anyone that rebuilds should have is a quality tube mech. No built in power limit and no electronics to fail. I could see my stainless steel SMPL lasting for years and years and years. Just a thought.

I would have wholeheartedly agreed with you 6 months ago. I shy away from that; because, if someone is looking for a backup that tells me that they have probably not been vaping long or they have not been off ego's long, which means they probably dont have a whole lot of knowledge to draw on from the perspective of battery safety and hybrid adapter safety..... not that any of that is very complicated, but, as we see the increasing rate of idiocy I would rather let a person find the mechanical world when if they want to explore it.
All of that a mechmod is definitely a wise investment for an rda
