I'm after a list of concentrates to get from FA.
Not got a wealth of experience with them and I've finally used all my previous ones so looking to start fresh now. I don't have one bottle of concentrate to my name.
So to make my mixing life easier I'm going to solely mix with FA as I enjoyed using them last time.

I am compiling an order based on recommendations to start my collection off. Probably go for 12-18 flavours due to the super 6 deal they have on FA UK website.

Much appreciated,
Tyler

So many good ones! I would pick out a few recipes that sound good to you, and get flavorings for those. It really depends on your tastes. Do you like fruits, desserts, bakery, custards, etc.

Any fruit flavor that you enjoy vaping - get it, or add it to a future list. They all taste pretty true to the actual fruit, not candied fruit. (my faves of those are lemon sicily, mandarin, lime cold pressed)
Do you enjoy bakery flavors? Get those, too. (my fave is cookie, but tiramisu and apple pie are really good)
The nut flavors are pretty spot on, my personal fave, Nut Mix, which is also pretty versatile, for that matter.
Vanillas/Creams - yep, you want those, too, lol.
Mints are really good, dark bean espresso is very good and don't forget Irish Cream. Or cola, if you like it in a vape.
Spices - Cinnamon Ceylon, cardamom. Seems like I'm forgetting one

Ones to avoid - anything that is an oil base. Those are better/safer used in cooking, such as Ginger. No, don't get that one.

Though I love FA as much as most people, limiting yourself to only FA will leave you without some really good flavors that FA just doesn't make.

Don't get me wrong I know there will be times when I'll be limited due to only using FA but I can tackle that when I come to it.
Im a big dessert fan I will admit so I'd be starting with them I think.

I'll just whisper this one to you, then. TFA Brown Sugar.

If you want to mix only with FA then this is indispensable: http://www.hicsmixes.com/notes-etc.html This is HICs guide to FA flavors. Since you are just starting up again, you may want to look at any of HICs recipes over in the Recipe forum for ideas. Most of HICs recipes are 100% FA.

Thank you! That for sure will help. I will stick with the FA flavours as from what I have read they seem to be the safest. Any stand alone flavour that you like? or used tyo like, before you got in to more complex recipes?

For my recommendation I'll list what i view as the standout flavors still in fairly regular use (aka: not just good for one particular recipe and then resigned to a fate of collecting dust) today after pretty much buying/experimenting with the entire line last year. Since a lot of the stuff i previously bought on recommendation may have indeed been good, but still ended up in the back of the cabinet today after going on to explore other (well, many others lol) alternative brands, some which make better versions of particular flavors that I prefer over FA's:

- Almond
- Bilberry
- Caramel
- Cinnamon Ceylon
- Coconut
- Cookie
- Fresh Cream
- Fuji Apple
- Mandarin
- Madagascar ( Vanilla Classic)
- Marshmallow
- Meringue
- Vienna Cream

Those 13 flavors alone offer countless mixing possibilities as well, and the creams are some of the most commonly used in the various recipes you'll find on this site.

In the name potential saving yourself some money and skipping over a potential growing step in your DIY, I'll also go against the grain here and steer you away from most of the fruit not listed above. Or at least into doing an individual feedback search on each type here instead . Not because FA's are "bad" (some like banana and strawberry are weak as hell though imo), there are just others out there that do it better. I mean to call a spade a spade here....the only people still posting a recipe including FA's Strawberry today probably don't own another brand of strawberry (like say...Inawera Shisha ;)).

Excellent list. LOL, seriously, there's probably a recipe right there.
