Regulated Series - Battery Drain?

Hi there!

I just got my Noisy Cricket II-25 and tried it out. I got my CSMNT with 0.17ohm build in it and for my taste, that is a little bit too high for unregulated parallel mode and a way too low for unregulated series mode. Can someone tell me how the regulated series mode works exactly? If i set up the potentiometer at about half way, that means i would get about 4-5 volts correct?

I am a little bit concerned about too high battery drain, since i currently only have VTC5's and VTC6 available.

I can adjust the potentiometer to taste and how warm i want my vape to be, but how do i know if i am still within the amp limit of my battery?

You check your ohms vs output volts via Ohms law formula... steam-engine.org has a calculator for that.

In series regulated

The lowest is 2v
Highest is 6v

From wismec.com:

Unique Design of Adjustable Voltage: By rotating the voltage regulating switch under series circuit condition, the output voltage can be adjusted from 2V to 6V.

You'll need to figure how much each notch on the potentiometer is.

Naturally center will be 4v
